Another Bulk order?

Postby Aidan » Wed Aug 18, 2004 4:54 pm

Hey folks!

I wonder if it is time for another bulk order from Bricks4you? He has amazing parts but the $100 minimum order and $25 minimum shipping is a bit of a hurdle.

I think the last one was a big sucess!

I am just trying to get a feel for interest right now and then maybe I will put one together. We should probably act fast. There are a lot of the new KK2 pieces available (at least for the moment), so you don't need to buy the whole sets.. This is also your chance to match wlister and my gold coin hoards in a single shot!

Anyway, take a look and PM me or reply if you are interested. I think I might need to pass on some of the shipping this time, but it depends on how many interested folks there are.

Thanks!

Oh he ships everywhere! I have bought from him several times. If you are interested let me know, even if it is a small order. I may be able to fit it in. Last time one person just bought a sword and a helmet! :D

Hi!

I sent you a PM. I'm preparing a list as we speak. I will probably spend $50.

BTW, many parts have a discount if you buy a bunch of them, so it would be wise for us, as a group, to try and order enough parts to get the discounts.

For example, gold coin assemblies are $0.40, but if you order 50 or more, they are only $0.30.

Likewise, the 6x5 green plant leaves are $0.25, but if you order 100 or more, they are only $0.20 each.

I imagine those two items will be popular so we should try to order enough to get the price reduction.

I'm rather confused, as it says European buyers only one place and ships internationaly elsewhere. I won't need any help buying  but thanks anyway.

Ok we definetely have enough interest :D . It is a delicate balance of waiting until I have enough orders for bulk discounts and not waiting too long that he runs out of stuff
:? Sounds unlikely, but it happens.

Keep sending those orders, we're not full yet.

You can work together to get bulk discounts if people want to make there requests public in the forum. Otherwise I will tabulate when I order.

I will charge you actual cost of parts plus the cost to ship it from me to you, plus a portion of the $25 shipping. I am thinking of dividing the $25 by your percentage of the total order, but I am open to other suggestions.

Many have expressed interest, I have lists from Will and Troy

Thanks

No, thank you Aidan! True, price per piece drops with some items over multiples of 100 (rascus euro armour, rascus visor, light grey katana... a few of the items I want)

Percentage is good, by the person is not as good if you are the guy buying a sword and a helmet.
