this is a great little MOC. Lots of personality to it. But, why is the minifig flesh-toned?

Well, yellow snow certainly occurs under the right conditions...

Nathan, that's got a nice feel to it, simple (but never simplistic) and interesting, like so much of your work!

Hey! Its not winter yet. (at least not here) No fair getting a head start on us. I'm going to pout.

(pout)

Nice MOC you have there. Reminds me of the Yeti's Hideout set. Great job. But I have to ask, why the (bleek) peach cloured face?
I build, therefore I am.

It's the light transparent blue that really makes it for me. It gives a cool icy tone that just makes it look colder.

And why would anyone question why the fig is "flesh" toned?

Nathan,
Great job! As stated before it has alot of character, and the trans blue pieces are an excellent touch!
Just an idea though, you could make a nice detail sticker to give the "entrance" rock wall a little more defenition. Or, you could drop in one of those sweet lt. grey lion head peices, as a sort of marker.
Post more! :D

If you put markers than other people could find the secret room within the icy walls of the frigid dwelling...

I like this Nathan, it looks a lot like the Orient sets in style, but like it was made by someone who knew what a real set looked like.

Beautiful! I love how compact it is, and its smooth, playset like look. The details are simple, but nice inside, with a well made fireplace. One suggestion, though- I think there aught'a be some kinda door at the entrance, so that snow doesn't blow in, and heat doesn't escape so quickly. :)

Good question. I suspect the answer has something to do with him being an Admin. 8)

Now, who's that dorky guy on the bridge in picture 10?

Anyway, I really like this MOC. I am impressed with how well it puts so much detail and cool stuff into such a small space. It reminds me of how cool official lego sets used to be.

Ok, now I have to criticize something, right? Let's see... nope, can't do it.

Good job!
