I like to share pictures of my LUG's drafts and my "loot" results, and thought others might also.
I created a group on Flickr where we can all share our pictures

I joined too. I really I wish my area had more people in it, so we could do something of the sort.
I will be creeping and spying on all the loot either way though

Re: LEGO Draft Flickr Group
I was thinking we should try to do a small online draft sometime. Everyone would send me money for the sets, I'd sort all of the parts and photograph all of the piles, assigning each a number. A draft order would be generated and then either we'd take turns commenting on what our picks were, or to run it faster, everyone would submit a priority list and then parts would be drawn in order based on what you had ranked highest that was still remaining.
I'd then mail everyone their "loot"
We'd do a small set for the first trial run, maybe one in the $10-$15 range. Thoughts? Interested?

@AK: Sounds like fun! I'd be interested as there isn't any LUG near me where I could do a regular parts draft. Starting with a small set seems like a good idea

I would definitely be interested in an online draft.

OK, I'll start a thread over on the BST forum where we can discuss the details

Re: LEGO Draft Flickr Group
Just to add a little bit to your info. I don't know about the online draft thing. The shipping seems a bit cost prohibited. Especially if shipping international. USPS raised their shipping costs so much this year that it is like a moment every time I ship something out.
I've often thought about how one could pull off an online draft. I know FBTB does them and I haven't participated in that. I guess one could go there and do some research. I do enjoy a very good draft...until I'm stuck with the technic pins in the end...blech. I feel like I'm drowning in technic pins. (Oh but the irony that I sell out of them in my bl store all the time...go figure.)
I might be interested...dependent on the set picked...and how the figs are handled. I've been in drafts were the figs were parted apart and drafts where the figs for each set are a lot (this I prefer more).

Re: LEGO Draft Flickr Group
Thanks for those comments Blue. Good points.
I started a thread in Buy/Sell/Trade to sign up for a test run. I will try to find something on clearance so that people get a good value, even with shipping costs included.
