How could an one be so heartless... JK, I appreciate all the work you've put into this. I have confidence for Garheim to make a comeback and snag the win thanks to General JJ' s incredible unrestricted.

Re: Global Challenge VI - A Glimmer of Hope - Voting Thread
That was unexpectedly and incredibly cruel
But thanks for the great work you've done a great work AK, organizing and counting all the votes.
I would say Garheim have a great chance of winning the third cattegory, but let's see how it turns out.
And, of course, congratulations to Sergeant Chipmunk and Caelan! Very good jobs guys!

WOW! Totally didn't expect that...although I did vote for a few different factions myself.

Re: Global Challenge VI - A Glimmer of Hope - Voting Thread
Congrats to Chipmunk and Caelan.
Chipmunk's take on the challenge and his methods of gathering intelligence is what I think made the build. Hilarious and inventive.
Gary's builds are always impressive. The colors were wonderful. I still think the "Restricted" category had to be the toughest, though, as I really liked them all. I can't imagine his win being by anything more than a vote or two.
And, while I am only a spectator for the LCC, if the brothers don't take the win for the final category, I am certain my brain will a'splode. That build epitomizes the challenge of preparing for rebellion.
Overall, it's been a great challenge to follow, as the builds have been exceptional all around. And, what a turn out from the Outlaws, 'eh? Awesome work, everyone.
P.S. - What a dastardly thing to do, Jordan. I always knew you were an Outlaw at heart. I absolutely approve.

Re: Global Challenge VI - A Glimmer of Hope - Voting Thread
OK, and now the results of the "Unrestricted" category!AK_Brickster wrote: And now, the results....
VIGNETTE (votes = 1x points)
Fourth Place, with 3 votes (3 points)- Loreos
Third Place, with 5 votes (5 points) - Outlaws
Second Place, with 19 votes (19 points) - Garheim
First Place, with 31 votes (31 points) - Lenfald - Vignette Champion is Sergeant Chipmunk!
RESTRICTED (votes = 2x points)
Fourth Place, with 4 votes (8 points) - Loreos
Third Place, with 6 votes (12 points) - Outlaws
Second Place, with 12 votes (24 points) - Garheim
First Place, with 36 votes (72 points) - Lenfald - Restricted Champion is Sir Caelan!
Points tally through two rounds:
Loreos: 11 points
Outlaws: 17 points
Garheim: 43 points
Lenfald: 103 points
With one category to go, and Lenfald out to a big lead, what would be the outcome?
Would one of the other factions take advantage of the triple points for the final category to surge forward and reclaim the lead and overall Global Challenge title?
Or would Lenfald hang on and bring home the victory??
Final results........

UNRESTRICTED
In a tie for third place, Outlaws with 7 votes (21 points) and Lenfald with 7 votes (21 points)
This brings the Outlaws to 38 points and Lenfald to 124 points
This means that Loreos is down by 113 points, meaning that they need 38 votes in the final category to win.
Garheim is down by 81 points, meaning that they need 27 votes in the final category to win!
And now...... will Loreos pull off the ultimate comeback?? Will Garheim surge forward behind a Herculean effort from the Brothers Generall JJ? Or will Loreos and Garheim split the votes, leaving the victory to be easily picked up by Lenfald?!

In second place, Loreos, with 13 votes (39 points), bringing their total to 50 points!
This means that Garheim takes first place in the Unrestricted category, but will it be enough???

Garheim finishes strong, with an astounding THIRTY-ONE VOTES! (93 points!)
This brings their final total to 136 POINTS, giving them the overall Global Challenge VICTORY!!
Congratulations to General JJ and the faction of Garheim on a hard-fought victory! (strong 2nd place finishes in the first two categories, and a dominating blowout in the final!)
Final Standings:
Garheim - 136 points
Lenfald - 124 points
Loreos - 50 points
Outlaws - 38 points
(these are just voting points - not related to Global Points)
Global points standings will be updated soon!
Great job everyone, and stay tuned for a VERY exciting new development. The biggest thing to EVER hit LCC is coming soon!

Re: Global Challenge VI - A Glimmer of Hope - Voting Thread
I have to say, I'm really shocked that Mattiusxavier didn't pull in more votes with his incredible MOC, but all credit goes to the JJ brothers for their phenomenal build. That MOC was the complete definition of what the Unrestricted category was supposed to be, and my hat goes off to you for your hard work!
Congratulations to Garheim on their come from behind win, but watch your backs, because this momentary setback will only strengthen Lenfald's resolve!

Re: Global Challenge VI - A Glimmer of Hope - Voting Thread
That sums it up really nicely. Their entry was exactly what we hoped for when we created the "Unrestricted" category. For that matter, MattiusXavier's was right on-par in terms of size and excellence, but I think that the Brothers JJ really captured the spirit of the challenge with theirs, which made all the difference in the minds of the voters. Without the parameters of the challenge, I think the race between the two would have been a lot closer.Andared of Lenfald wrote:That MOC was the complete definition of what the Unrestricted category was supposed to be, and my hat goes off to you for your hard work!

Well done JJ Bros, really well done! I'm disappointed Loreos didn't do better overall, but at least we didn't come fourth!
