Has anyone ever had a piece crack while building? How do you go about getting replacements. Normally it doesn't bug me however I had several parts crack on me with a couple newer sets. Just curious if this has ever happened and what you do. Unfortunately I don't usually keep the broken pieces, so I don't know if Lego will want them back. Thoughts,
Curt

I've had a couple of dark bley cheese wedges crack at the front, but only in that colour. Weird.

You can call customer support or use the parts replacement section of the website to request them.

I once called Customer service because I was missing one of the two sticker sheets for an Agents set. They sent me both sets of stickers. I cannot complain about their service.

I have replaced missing parts a few times. It is what LEGO does best, customer support. Don't be afraid to request what you need. Plus, they need to know the parts are cracking so they can fix the issues. Really, they will want to know!

LEGO Customer Service is fantastic, I've contacted them about missing parts before, and they've shipped me replacement ones quickly. This was years ago, but they were friendly over the phone then and i imagine they are just as friendly if not more nowadays.

They do not ask you to send them back unless there is something significant. Like once I was asked to send a box back because it smelled like kerosene. They really just want to know if there are problems so they can address them. AND the LEGO company prides itself on it's customer service. Call, or use the website link. Either way, you will get replacement parts.
