hey guys,

did you know that 8877 Vladeks Dark Fortress from the Knights Kingdom line was based on a rejected alternative build from the 1988 released Black Monarchs castle? No?

...thats because i made it up. This moc is my entry for the out with the new category. I tried to reimagine the 2005 released 8877 as something that would have been used as one of those alternative builds back in the day (or page from an idea book).

Very, very nice! It really feels old-school, and it really reminds me of a Lego set from that era. Love the beginning too, very funny!

Hehehe, this was my second choice. A really well done MOC, it has both the feel of Vladek's Dark fortress, and of sets from the 80s. My favorite detail is the good knights, and how you manged to get various colours.

This is Beyond Epic.
I love this to death.
And if that black knight is actually Vladek, all the more appropriate because he'd probably execute me for trespassing and drooling on his property.
All jokes aside though, I seriously would have done my hardest to nag my mom to buy me this castle as a kid.
