Holiday Figure Exchange is back!

OK, we are going to cut off sign-ups for this year, so that folks can hopefully get these out in time for the holidays!

Pairings:
AK_Brickster & Andhe
Bluesecrets and Elephant Knight
jtooker & The Brick Stop (Instagram user)

How it Works:

1. On December 6th (or shortly thereafter), I will post trade partners.
2. You will contact your trade partner to exchange addresses.
3. Prepare a gift and send it to your partner during December.
4. Post a photo of the gift you receive.


Gift Guidelines:

1. Include a medieval mini figure with accessories and/or construction. Be creative!
2. All plastic parts should be genuine LEGO unless your partner agrees otherwise.
3. Target range for value of your gift is around $5 - $10 (you can give more, if you're feeling generous)

Uk/Europe I guess. Though to be honest postage has gone up so much its probably a negligible difference.

I would love to participate, but my spares parts are really poor right now...
I must have 3 beheaded and half sanded castle minigs. I was hoping to find a good idea and something to do a little construction with instead, and time flew.

International is fine for me (I am in France), and I am ready to participate if no one is afraid of being a little disappointed.
If I can't find the right bricks, I'll find a good joke to compensate.

I'll join too if I'm not too late.

FWIW, I missed this post until just now. Partially since I don't pay attention to the "General" area very often, and partially since there are 6 pinned/announcement posts above this one from years ago in the buy/sell/trade area (including the 2019 trade!)

Edit: I live the US but could ship internationally.

Work has been really busy for me the last few weeks, so apologies for not being on right on the 5th to see how sign-ups were going. I am fine extending the deadline a smidge if we think anyone else will join. I'll throw something up on the IG page to try to rally the troops. How long should we extend the deadline? Through the weekend (so, 12/12)?

I'm trying to find a 6th participant real quick and then will get the pairings set.

Pairings are posted. Please exchange addresses (and any special requests/expectations) with your partner and shoot to have your gifts mailed by the end of the week.

Don't forget to post what you receive here so we can all see what each other got!

I got this awesome shepherd from Jason in the exchange. I like the combination of old and new pieces. The torso and hat are new to me (in that color) and your heard always needs another sheep!

Nice! I love the new gray hats and of course who doesn't love a vintage peasant/forestman torso!?

Andhe and I agreed to send ours after the holiday rush at the post office was over. And then I left home for 2 months without thinking to bring something with me to send. So ours will exchange probably in time for Easter.

I hit the jackpot! Big thanks to AK for his trade (mine is delayed from reasons explained below) and years of online castle friendship.

My return swap was delayed due to a bout of covid and a new baby in the house. I'll need to have a good rummage to return the favour.
