CCC XIX: The Witcher - A Village

Post by Piglet »

The Witcher - A Village
(A professional is needed here)

I hope it will fit the

Code: Select all

5. Civilian (non-military) building - Build a non-military, civilian medieval building. The size is limited to 48x48 studs.
category.

A village is struggling with problems of various monsters. A squad of soldiers just arrived, finally sent by lord to calm the peasants. But there will probably be a need for a professional who, fortunately, also appeared on the horizon.

I really like the village feel you get from your MOC, just like in the game.

The wraith is also nicely constructed and instantly recognizable.

Oh wow, so many details in this build!
The first thing I noticed is how nicely those brightly coloured roofs contrast with the darker foliage. Then I thought that village would be a great place to live...until I saw the excellently-depicted noonwraith! :spin:
From a technical point of view, I really enjoy the palisade and the little statue near the witcher. They are both very cleverly built!

Great village! I like all the different monsters you've packed into the scene, though it looks like the village might need more than one witcher..... :)
