CCC 19 - Wrap up post

I'm not sure that everything I want or need to say will make it into this post, but I will try.

First, when I decided I was going to take over the CCC, it was like a week before the announcement would happen. That isn't a lot of time to scramble to get it all up and running. But I did my best. I am sorry if it frustrated any of you that you had to wait a few days.

I then gathered a group of volunteers who did not have to help me but they did. They have mad skills, great passion, amazing helpfulness and have vision. They need to be thanked for every single thing they did, including listening to me rant on the few times I needed to. And they judged...quick and thoroughly.

I am toying with giving them a special title, rank and group. But I don't want to take away from any of the ones they already have.

I am completely honored by how many people participated. When it comes to contests, I've run a lot around CC and Forbidden Cove before it was closed down. The first lesson you learn when you run contests is to be grateful that people wanted to build for your ideas. It was a group effort to pick the categories.

Having said that, we are already working on next year's CCC and some other ideas. The team is truly a rejuvenating breath of fresh air for me.

And to be 100% honest, prizes probably will not be shipped out until sometime in February.

Thanks Blue for spearheading a revival of the CCC! I'm really excited for the 20th Anniversary next year!!

(And RE: prize shipment delay, a lot of that is my fault, sorry. I'm out of town and several prizes are back at home. I'll ship once I return!)

Huge thanks to all of you who have made this contest possible! I have not been able to participate as much as I wanted, but I have nevertheless really enjoyed every single bit of it.
