Without further delay, these are the ten categories for the Colossal Castle Contest 20th anniversary!

1. Micro Castle - Small but mighty! Build a microscale castle.
2. Small Castle - A category for mid-size entries. Build a modest castle. Size restriction: 32x32 footprint
3. Colossal Castle - Here's your chance to go big! Create a colossal castle to defend your lands
4. Viking Life - Show a day in the life of a Viking! Can be on land or sea.
5. Forest Fort - Build a hideaway deep in the dark woods, with emphasis on the forested setting.
6. Fantasy Creature - Make a brick-built creature of lore. Creature only - setting won't be considered in scoring.
7. Magical Mishap - Whoops! You should have used a newt instead of a bullfrog! Show us a use of magic/alchemy gone wrong! Size restriction: 32x32 footprint
8. Castle Interior - Highlight your interior building skills. Size restriction: 16x16 footprint
9. Have a Peasant Day! - Create a scene showcasing lifestyles of the poor and unnotable
10. Medieval Fashion - Construct a brick-build an item (or items) of medieval clothing or accessories at any scale - but no weapons!

The top builder having entered at least 6 categories will be this year's Master Builder and take home the grand prize: the Lion Knights' Castle!

Hopefully I can get an entry in! Thank you very much to the sponsors and those behind the contest, and of course, happy anniversary to the CCC! 20 years is a lot!

What’s the fun in entering something you’ve already got built?
Trevor

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

Possibly he just built it. I could build a 16x16 for example in one afternoon  . That said, I hope to get one entry in for one of the larger categories, so that would take me quite some time!

I will start the process of approving entries tomorrow. Your entry will not show up instantly. I have to hand approve them. And sometimes I have way too much going on in my day to check them. If there is something that is not allowing me to approve your entry, I will reach out privately.
