There have been several accounts created lately with very short and generic answers. They have not been approved. Been a while since I've posted anything here. I can't believe it's the 20th CCC this year, time flies! Been a busy month but I'm cooking something up for one of the categories and I'm certainly looking forward to seeing what everyone else posts. The builds get more amazing every year it seems.

Ah, my build is taking longer than anticipated... too bad the deadline isn't the 15th of January, like the Brickscalibur contest! But I'll try to step up my speed and finish on time, hopefully . I'm really too excited to not make the entry finished on time!

I am checking the entries multiple times a day for approval, as well as checking new memberships.

But fair warning, that nasty polar vorex blizzard from Canada-land is heading my way within 12 hours. I could get buried in snow, lose internet/power. Odds are very good I will lose internet.

For those of you not in North America...it's a big evil storm of super cold, high winds...that come rushing across the Great Lakes and dump what is called lake effect snow on me. Nothing out of the ordinary for me but it can cause me some time without access to approving things. For reference, last year one of those storms dumped like 1.25 METERS of snow on me within 24 hours.

Fair warning number 2: Christmas = family time. I will do my best to check in, but family time is family time.

Which leads to me asking in advance for your patience and understanding.

The issue with waiting until the very end is...having time to get everything approved so we can judge asap like we have been trying to do the last couple of years.

If your entry is not showing up approved:

1) Please allow me time to get to it. I will approve it within 24 hours IF it follows rules and category requirements.

2) Check your private messages. I may have contacted you to tell you if you have not followed one of those rules/requirements.

3) Make sure your photos are visible to anyone. The judges do not all use every place that people are hosting. For example, Instagram is not one we all use.

4) Please check the categories again. I am getting a bunch of late entries that are not following the category requirements.

5) The crew running the contest do have discussions about some entries. Your entry may be one we are looking at.

And finally, being 100% up front so you don't get all nasty with me. I am having electricity issues that are taking my internet up and down tonight.
