LEGO Miyamoto Musashi

Post by Captain Roger »

Hi:

I love LEGO since I was a child, specially Pirates, Castle and Classic Space. I also love japanese culture and I specially admire Miyamoto Musashi, so I have recreated his life with LEGO and made a video about him:

Hope you like it. Best regards

Very neat! Musashi was truly an incredible guy. Too bad we can't know more precisely about him. Did you read his book by any chance?

I bought his book more than a decade ago but I found really hard to read. However, I have read a lot about him:

1. The novels by Eiji Yoshikawa
2. The book about his true story by William Scott Wilson.
3. The comic adaptation about Musashi's book by Sean Michael Wilson and Chie Kutsumada.

I suggest you to read the 3 books (5 books if we consider the novels are a trilogy). They are great. I also suggest you ti watch the 5 movies of him directed by Tomu Uchida in 1960s. I'm glad to know other Lego and Musashi fan. Nice to meet you!!

Having Eiji Yoshikawa's book at home waiting to be read in near future, this is nice surprise to see here. Well done!
