...and promptly fell off.

Not exactly the most stellar of MOCs, but I guess everyone must start somewhere.

These won't be the last vignettes I'll do, but I hope I do better next time ;)

Those are awesome.
Does the knight survive to the storm?
Shelved bricks(???)

Great job! The details on the mill are nice, but I like the knight the best. It has a lot of potential for a great story.

Wow. I really like that duck. Defenintly worth stealing. And the way you used thos rails for the mill was very creative.

That Knight is also very coool(pun intended).
It is simple but effective.

Great stuff and can't wait to see more.

( Can't wait to see more of Chaos Skies either  )

After looking at my pictures of the mill, I realized that the wall of the mill wasn't sitting right. Turns out where I had my headlight bricks to hold the water wheel wasn't quite the right place, and it was stressing and bending the wall. So I've since moved the upper most headlight brick down and it works much better now.

Not that it makes much of a difference visually, so I've not retaken any pictures.

Hello!

The duck is great.

And the winter-MOC is a cool (harhar) idea, too.

I just noticed something. What is that peice that's used for the duck's head?

It is a 1x1 brick? Or is it a LEGO piece I have yet to see? Or is it a headlight piece? probably a headlight but it looks like there is a small bumb, not a stusd on the top. And there is no hole in the back. Hmm...

Great vignettes, Tony. I like the knight in the snow the most. Gives me an idea for something similar, at least in how bricks can be stacked to certain heights. The weight of this vignette band wagon has finally made me make my own!

It's a 1x1 brick with a Green Goblin neck bracket on top.

Cool. These are awesome. The mill is a great little thing with just the right amount to detail. And the knight! I feel so sorry for him, i hope he lives.

Hmm...the Gristmill one doesn't really impress me, but I love the Cold Winter's Knight. First off, the name is brilliant. And the pose is amazing. It's absolutely perfect! You can really tell that he's fighting against the wind, and plowing through the heavy snow. Stupendous work on that one. So simple, yet totally expressive. That's what vignettes are all about.

Hey,

I like the way that you've only got part of the mill wheel, but the rest of the mill is implied. That's a nice aspect of the vignettes. The knight one is my favorite, though. The way you've positioned him and have the cape flung out behind him make it really look like he's fighting against a strong wind.
