Dragonlord Esq., in a different thread in GENERAL LEGO wrote:What do you think the Crusaders are going to do when they break through that wall? Shake the Black Falcon's hands? No, they're going to kill them. Those smiley faces hide cruel intentions.

So how is a jeep with a machine gun on it any different than a cart with a crossbow on it, or a Pirate ship with cannons on it?
Actually, it's funny you say that.
In all my games of playing LEGO, I have NEVER had the losing side totally slaughtered. Wounded, captured, enslaved, forced into the wilderness, forced into surrender to then be enslaved or imprisoned, but never all killed outright.
Yes, I did have casualties during the battle, but none post-battle. I don't know if I EVER had an execution. This didn't matter if the attacking army was Crusaders or Fright Knights.
So now I'm curious, was this typical of me, or am I just wierd?

now that I think about it, I probaly do things sort of like you. somtimes I'll have total armys wiped out during a battle but don't think I've ever execution.
So, no
I don't think your weird to do so, but I may be considerd wierd also
Now with pirates it's a different story

I don't think your weird saying this. Those minifigs have a weapons in the hands, they're smiling with a good reason.
I myself never really do what you do. Its all always a fight to the last man.
However the pleasures of a clean dismantling do not extend to those megabloks guys.

When I was a kid my friends and I used to play with our LEGO armies out in the front yard. The sidewalks would be the river, the street the ocean. Anyway all was not well with Legoland. My neighbor had about 200 men, I had 80, my other friends had about 40 each. Anyway, to combat the mighty strength of my neighbor we'd use tricks like throwing one of our men into his pile, and of course he'd set him up in his base thinking it was his. I knew all my men, but he never bothered to care. Anyway, in the thick of battle, the spy I placed would open the gates and let my army in, or something like that. So that sort of thing came to be commonplace, and whenever we'd discover an enemy spy in our pile we'd make a LEGO gallows and hang them with string. We had a story to go along with it, too. My neighbor was a fearsome tyrant that usurped the throne, and my hero was the rightful heir. So when I finally took his castle it was no quarter. Men, women, of course all of his children, were killed immediately. Most of the time we took prisoners, but we didn't go out of our way to do so.

When I do play with my Lego (as opposed to builing with them), I always find it fun to kill minifigs in the process. Not all of them of course, but excecutions do happen after the battles...

My friends and me used to have all these huge wars, seeing as our fig count was about 40-50 each. If someone was killed, we simply put them in a pile of the slain. *sigh* Good days, good days...

Green_Fox and I often have gang battle campaignes, often leading to very grisly deaths and interrogations...
Ever since I got my first ever lego set, I've been having battles with them. That is what castle and space are for!

Sadly, I'm still living in my good old days, so I can't reflect on them.

When I fight the bad guys always lose(good always triumphs over evil, right?). Some of their men get away sometimes, but mostly they're killed. I'm a murderer

When I play, the Royal Knights, , KKI and KKII are the goodies while the Wolf Pack and Dragon Masters are the bad guys. Guess who wins

. The evil guys of course!!
Mostly they take the Royals to theirs dungeons and torture them to death. I am a murderer

With my figs, well... if you consider having an elephant charge into battle, crushing, smashing, and all that stuff... I'm a murderer
