Blacksmith Vig

Here is my first vignette that I really like:

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=121024

The blacksmith shows off one fine sword to a knight. The Blacksmith's wife can be seen in the window looking out into the street. I was thinking of adding some more to this, and lining them up to make a medieaval street made up of vignettes.

I like the old storefront look. He seems like an honest blacksmith somehow. It's probably a really nice sword.

Hey DM,

I like it! I think this is the first vig to in corperate a tudor-style house, which is cool. The scene is cluttered, but not too much so. I think my favorite part is the detail of the Blacksmith's wife peeking out the window. I really like vigs that in corperate several levels like that. :)

Very nicely laid out vignette! I love the little weapons rack out front. And the building is superbly incorporated into the small area. That is the sort of Vigenette Lego needs to take make! I'd buy several. :D

Ha! If TLC released this as a set we'd all be complaining that it has no back.

This is the first vignette you've done that you like? You need to make more, because this is really good.
