Writing Desk

Post by Snap Dracone »

Nothing much of a story behind this... I was fiddling around with desk ideas last night and this MOC sprang from it. The quill in the inkpot is inspired by this vignette of Charles Darwin's cabin and the other quill comes from Bruce N H's Scriptorium.
The vignette itself is actually just my idea of a perfect writing place, with a desk on a tiled floor surrounded by nature... And the minifig is myself, without glasses since I can't find any head with glasses like mine.

Questions? Comments? Constructive Criticism?
The desk could be used in a larger MOC, which I may do...

Very "desk-ish". It makes me think of those big executive desks that CEO's have. I like how the use of 1x1 rounds on the corners helps to convey a sense of ornate decorations -- without a lot of clutter. But I do think you need a touch more plant life around it. Otherwise, well done!
