Hi!

How would I make non-sticker decals stick without making it a permanent thing?

Personally I use an Elmers brand Glue Stick. The stickers stay afixed for about three weeks to a month, sometimes more. Eventually the glue will become so dry and brittle that the 'sticker' just pops or jerks loose all of a sudden. Then out comes the glue stick and it's right back where it was.

I've not seen any permanent damage to my figs with the glue stick. It just leaves an dull film that I've been able to remove by just rubbing the film off with my finger. I'm sure water and a little soap would make sure nothing was left of the glue.

I use a type of double-sided tape.My mom says it's really a thin version of the stuff that holds your carpet to the floor. :D

I also use double sided tape. I'm not sure what it's for, but I think my dad used it at his work for somthing.

Interesting. The stickers I attached back in the Fall with a glue stick are still stuck, with no sign of letting go. That's at least five months so far. Hmmmm.

Yup, same thing. Elmer's brand Washable Glue Stick (I'm not sure if there is an unwashable kind, but the washable can be cleaned up if you decide to peel the sticker off).

Another to consider is 3M Post-It Glue Stick (leaves a non-permanent glue similiar to Post-It Notes). Don't know how it cleans up, but you can swap stickers around easily if you like experimenting.

Speaking of coming off-the stuff I use holds great, but if your rub it with your finger (don't know how to describe it)it will start to roll up and will come off easily-without taking any paint with it.
