Hello?

The question is: 42?

[Dragon Dung Shop]
Shouldn't everybody savour a decent cup of Dragondung™ Brew?

[Forestman Percussion Band]
Isn't that funny?
And hey, is that Phil Collins' great-great-great-great-great-....great grandfather? The guy at middle left?

[Herbalist]
Amsterdam?

[Jeweler]
(Jojo has no idea how to comment on this, isn't that unbelievable?

Bye?
Jojo

No criticism here. I like the use of the minifig arms for the Dragon Dung.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw the Foresmen's ensemble...Yellow Man Group! :D

Very nice work on each of the projects!

Hey Crackhead,

Great buildings as always. My favorite little detail is the mortar and pestle in the herbalist's shop. Also the variety of percussion instruments is very cool.

I have never dug up dead threads before, but I stumbled across this and had never seen them. So, I had to comment. Awesome shops, Lenny!

The jeweler and the herbalist are really good (really like that mortar and pestle) but the dung shop and band are awesome! Can't believe I missed these before...

Yep yep, I've seen these quite some time ago, and I agree, they are good.

But one question...what's with the lack of trees and rivers in these buildings, shouldn't every building have a nice river and forest in it, I could be wrong.

So, are those good?
And, I like the way you make the Tudor style?
So, I think forestman are looking merry in that band, don't you?

See you later Lenny?

People's standards have gone up somewhat in the past few years. When Lenny built these, there wasn't the saturation of half-timbered shops we see now. Furthermore, most builders (including Lenny) have improved a great deal since then.

Also, any criticism should be positive! There's no need to be so harsh on another fan's MOCs. If you see something you think could be improved upon and have a suggestion, then by all means tell the builder. To say somebody's work "isn't great" or is "nothing special" is nothing less than an insult. If you feel that way, perhaps you should lend advice on how to improve them instead.

Just remember, not everybody is going to love your MOCs either.

I'm not so sure about that... ;)

Thanks for sticking up for me!

But I can take it, I'm half-spacer ;). But ya, it is a fair critique. A lot of these were an attempt to just build a bunch of houses, and I tended to focus on the details rather than building a cool looking house.

Odd how this post keeps getting replies 2 years after the fact. I feel so famous.

It's a joke. He's asking you to quit a job so that you can spend all of your time worshipping the houses.

You need to edit in Classic-Space .

On topic: In my Guest days (and sometimes nowadays), I used to look at all the old pages of every forum. I saw these there (and on B-shelf), and thought that they were great.
