Those are real, alright. The Vladek wall looks like a really good set, but I don't think I'll be getting the barge.

Cool, thanks for clearing that up.
I hadn't heard of these new sets before.

I actually like these two sets.

The barge reminds me of the landing craft in the movie Saving private Ryan.

While this thread is still in existence I would like to ask if Vladek's small wall can connect to his dark fortress.

If they do, that'd be cool! :D

The 8802 set looks quite good, I like the little stairway especially!

Thats a sweet little set, I'll be picking up 3 or 4 of those when I see them at TRU. My only problem is, can they stick any more premolded parts into such a small place? :|

Umm... is it my imagination or is 8802 comprised of only two sides? If not, it looks like a solid little fortress. If so, blech.

That's my feeling too - I like the WW2 style in KK2 setting. Kind of interesting how this series seems to highlight the good guys on the attack and Vladek defending all of the time.

Magnus and I explored that theory at the Lego store a few weeks ago, and we thought that no, it probably was not modular. A pity, really, but there's nothing saying you can't add in a few technic pins youself.

I hadn't seen the barge before, but the river fortress, or whatever it's name is, has been on Bricklink. I think they're both pretty good, but:

Hello!

Actually these sets ain't filled with too many premolded parts. You get the usual BURPs, quay walls and wall pieces along with crenelation pieces. Particularly the barge (or how this kind of boat is called) consists of mainly bricks and plates. I recommend Vladeks Wall section for the black doors (used to be rare before), and the ship is good for blay parts if you need them.

This is just the sort of nonsense up with which I will not put.
