Hello!
Bye
Jojo
Ooouuu! No king! That means, every copy you buy of such a minifig pack brings you another king. And how many kings do you need? (As in: How many Captain Rogers do you need?)Linus wrote:I would buy a pack of castle people if it contained most of these:

2. Knights
3. Peasents (male and female)
4. Maidens
5. A REAL King (not the phoney King Leo)
Bye
Jojo

I think I put the king on my list because I only buy one copy of a set, not 10+ copies of a single set. Also, I don't own a king. I hope all of you understand my point....
So here's my new list:
1. Soldiers
2. Knights
3. Peasents (male and female)
4. Maidens
Hello!
,
and
Or maybe you prefer the Giants' king...

Nah, it's OK :-)Linus wrote:My Mistake!!!
A king should be quite easily achieved because they come in small sets:I think I put the king on my list because I only buy one copy of a set, not 10+ copies of a single set. Also, I don't own a king. I hope all of you understand my point....

Thanks for the pics, Jojo!
I think I'll pick up a 6008 on Bricklink.
P.S. Not to be brash or rude, I just don't like Belville.

As long as it is under $30 dollars.(9293 Community Workers, a Town mini-fig pack containing 30 mini-figs costs $34!)Yeah, We need a pack with 36 minifigs of knights and soldiers and people. and stuff. ETC
P.S. Not to be brash or rude, I just don't like Belville.

Personally I don't like Belville as a building resource for myself, but I have an 8 year old daughter who just loves Belville.
She is the envy of all her friends, there are no stores in Canada that carry the Belville line so she is the only girl in her school with "girl" Lego.
She spends a great deal of time playing with those sets and whenever she has friends over, they all play happily for hours with them.
I have been buying her Belville sets since the 5808 and despite their juniorized appearance the Belville line has a play value I have seldom seen in other products marketed to girls. It is a real shame these are not available at retail, I think North America is ready for Lego Toys marketed to girls.
Clickits just don't hold the excitement of the Belville sets. For Christmas this year I bought my Daughter the Flower Fairy Party Collection and that was the present she loved the most. I'm glad I put my name on the boxes and not Santa, he gets far too much of the accolades our kids should be giving us.
So yes the sets may not appeal to the average AFOL, but as a parent, I'd rather buy Belville than Barbie.
Will

After a long absence, I have returned. I can't wait to start building again.
