There's a thread about it over on MCN. Apparently you can use a Yellow Sharpie brand marker to change the color of flesh toned figs to something that very closely resembles LEGO yellow. It isn't permanent, but it can be reapplied.
Here's some shots that user thedeathstickman posted to Brickshelf to illustrate the effect.

Those look great, I was just about to post a topic on these but ya beat me to it, lol. The shade of yellow looks identical to that on the original yellow heads too.
Where do they sell Sharpie?

Rocky and Bullwinkle?
Did he color all over, or just the fleshie part, and not the eyes/mouth?
That looks great!

Well, obviously any area that is white (teeth, eyes) will need to be colored around. But any dark print should be ok.

Whoa !,
This is very interesting. I will have to test this out myself. I'm curious though, after coloring with the sharpie, could one use a
light coat of clear spray paint to make the yellow coat permanent ?
Hmm, the possiblities are looking most promising

Indeed, the possibilities are very promosing. There's a solution to everything. Its amazing how we can all think of different ideas and such, in order to get rid of bad things (i.e the bleach brick project, etc.)
