LEGO & Little Armory stuff with a Warhammer twist

Post by MaxiVisVires »

Because Warhammer was being discussed in the gaming forum, I wanted to show some of the stuff I have done that combined both LEGO and Warhammer.

This stuff is basically Warhammer Weapons with LEGO handles:

Thunder Hammer
Crozius Arcanum
Power Sword

This stuff is Little Armory stuff, painted and with some Crusader seals and such:
Battle Axe
Long Sword

And the entire gallery when public

Not a bad idea, though I'm not sure if I'd want my LEGO figs brandishing metal components. How did you afix them - pinning?
Forge not works of art but swords of death, for therein lies great art.

Since the glue points are so small, to make the items more sturdy, I had to use a pin hand drill (Yea, it took forever), to drill holes in both components, then use copper wire and plastic cement to infuse both pieces. Now the pieces are fairly strong, at least, strong enough to put in a minifig's hands. I used primer to seal all the cracks and work detail (though I lost item detail in doing so), and the painting is standard with a little bit of staining.

Lemme check ebay...

well I found what a Thunder Hammer normally looks like before paint here.

And this is what a Power Sword looks like.

And here's a bad picture of a Crozius Arcanum

Very nice indeed. These conversions would look great in any setting (including space).

My only minor gripe is that these weapons are for WH40K (warhammer 40000) universe. Maybe you can do something for Warhammer Fantasy Battle (WHFB) world.

Great work.

I actually tried using Fantasy stuff (mainly orc), but the scale is just slightly smaller. Due to this, it doesn't look very good converted. The 40k stuff does fit kinda well, because I made a small LEGO company of knights using the Black Templar theme. They actually look good with the shoulder pads, and I made each unique class (like the Crozius for a Chaplin) while mixing it with some historical information of the true Knights Templar.

Wow! Those are awesome! I love the longsword! What did you use for these? It's amazing!
