WaterWheel - A tutorial in 3 days

Post by marakoeschtra »

Hello !

I made some instructions for a large water wheel,
that I already put to use on my bakery in a slightly different appearance.

The tutorial is divided in three parts (today's the first, and
the next two days I'll upload the other two) and is hosted by my sigfig, Marakoeschtra.

Nice, easy to read instructions. Even though I'll probably never use them, it's nice to know they're here if I ever do.

Kinda Off-topic: I love your bakery. Is there a topic somewhere here on C-C, where I can comment more on it? (I'm not usually a thread-bumper, but for this I would make an exception.) If there isn't one, for it or your other stuff, perhaps you could start making some (threads, that is).

Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".

Super instructions! The insertion of your fig is neat, but the actual wheel it crazy cool. All that technic work in neat, and I am sure makes the whole wheel very sturdy.

Thanks for posting, I'll watch for the next installments.

Yeaqh, this is something I wouldn't glance at otherwise, but your fig doing the instructions is great! Much better than all that Lcad and digital work. I'm eagerly awaiting tomorrow's installement.

Here's the bakery - thread.
For the threads regarding my other MOCs, you can use
the forum's search function, with query "marakoeschtra".

Back ontopic:
I just uploaded the second part of the tutorial; the third will follow tomorrow.

Shaping up very nicely. I like the chairs instead of the pieces you used in the original MOC.

I really like the end result. Thanks so much for posting this great design. It's pretty crazy how it all fits together like that.

Thanks again!

The design is fantastic and very inspired. My question is, couldn't the same result be achieved with a simpler structure?

That is a very nice open waterwheel design. Using the chairs is very clever. I also like enclosed bucket wheels:

Thank you for sharing the instructions also.
