Interesting Fabuland part

Now that I'm building all these castle village type things I'm learning about some of the parts I'd never known existed. Somebody mentioned that they had a light grey Fabuland mallet and I went looking for it. It's a nice piece, but I also found a very cool
saw. A saw is something I've been trying to make from parts but hey, if they make a decent one, I'll take that. For those of you who are like me and don't really know what's out there, here's a link:

Nice. Except for the Yellow aspect... And the fact that only the European stores have it.

They have some interesting pieces in there. Any on have any idea where "Fabuland" came from or what it is?

Fabuland is an old line that was geared towards younger kids in the 80's. A lot of cool parts started there such as the ladle, the cauldron, harry potters broom, a giant pick ax, and of course the mallet and the saw! The problem is they are a little larger scale.
I have 3 of the light grey hammers. I think they are formidable looking weapons in the right mini-figs hands.
You can also look for this set

It has the saw and the hammer! I think there is even one available in the US.

Here's a site all about Fabuland.

The theme has several useful castle parts. The oversize (for a minifig) axe is my favourite.

I also think the fabuland parts are great. Hopefully I can get some of the rare ones one day. I really like Jojo's use of them:

Thanks for the link, Ben. Jojo, you are a wonder! I like the creative (and more accurate) style of harness, and that spinning wheel! Amazing!

Hello!

Naw, I'm not.
But Fabuland has really cool parts for several purposes:
That's the pickax. Quite a martial looking tool in the hand of a black warrior.
