This is a new idea I just had for a horn. The horn is done in a purist way, but the sword isn't, ( sword isn't part of the moc) so, I posted it here.
Here's the horn, being held by my friendly main character in a story, Lewenthir:

Very clever,
I think it would look nice with a centuar or an orc holding it.

Not sure, but I've seen in somewhere before. Actually I'm quite sure about it, but not able to dig it up (because of lack of time). :D

^^^ That's Stone Goblin's folder from here at CC, in case anyone didn't know.

Anyway, as a horn, I don't like this one. I just don't like something you can't take out of their little hands without it breaking to two separate parts. It looks nice, but for actual play value, this rates pretty low.

That's funny, I spent way to much time, last night, trying to find that folder. Ironically, I thought it was your design. :) No wonder I couldn't find it!

I like it but I agree with E of Elshire, it is annoying how it breaks into two parts. Of course this would be more of a piece for displays and not necessarily for playing.

Well, it's more of a holding tipe of horn then anything else.
BTW, I never actually seen that. I guess great minds think alike.

The play value isn't that good, but it's better then using the trumpet part.

Seeing this makes me want to get a viking set more and more. I saw the recurve bow that you make with a horn and light saber handle, and now a excellent looking horn. I gotta get my hand on some of those horns!

This looks really good. Good job.

Might I suggest buying some horns on Bricklink Felix?

10 or 15 Cents!? That'll get expensive if you bought a good bunch, and once you factor in the shipping for those, it really adds up. Better off just buying the set, also considering how awesome them Vikings are!

P.S. Not to shoot you down or anything, Lamanda, just saying.

EDIT: The white ones are actually about 6 cents right now, and the red ones are about 9.

Buy a hundred of those for only $5.90 and it's high time to redecorate the castle in the fashionable "Old Barbarian" style
