Problem with changing avatars

Post by Athos »

I just tried to change my avatar, but all I'm getting now is a red X.

I tried it with several pictures, including ones I've used before with the same results...

Hey Steve,

There is a problem with avatars for some time now.

Its been mentioned in Template Issues and again in Avatar Issues. I don't know when it will be fixed but, for now, I guess you can only use the basic templates.

By the way, you can get rid of that broken 'x' by either deleting image or selecting one of the sheilds. I hate those broken x's...

Don't we all. 8)

Troy's done a great job of keeping things working, I don't mind if it takes him months to get around to doing it.

I didn't even know it was an on-going problem. Well guess I'll have to go with the unicorn, as its a symbol of Scotland.

Oh, is this the problem? Thank goodness for the search button, that's all I can say. :D I was about to start a thread about it, so it's just good to know that it's not a problem on my end...

Try uploading your avatars now. I think that I have corrected the issues with it. Atleast I was able to upload a new avatar and it worked.

Let me know if you encounter any problems.
