I found out on the first day of my vacation that my piano teacher of ten years had passed away that day. However, since I was to be gone for a while, I would have to miss the funeral; it hurt terribly. Well, today I built a memorial vignette to make up for missing the funeral. Credit goes to Dunechaser for the piano design.

I can still remember when I heard the news, so I can understand a little bit how you feel now. Very nice scene to portray.

Excellent vig, eNiGmA. I love the heaven look it has, and seeing your sigfig (sans the Falcon garb) really made it work. I can't say I've lost a music teacher, but we had this drama teacher a few years ago - Mr Lloyd - he was young and very talented, and a great, humourous guy to know. The school staff were planning on promoting him to head of the subject. But he died suddenly of cancer just a year after starting. Such a waste of a great man. The school studio was named after him, though.

I think this is great eNiGMa. I also think the cloud is good. In situations like this, I think it is good to exercise your creative abilities in something positive. When my friend was murdered, I found painting to be helpful.
