Right era, wrong continent

Long time, no posts, so let me call up a simple MOC I'm rather fond of. This is house I built a while back in the Sudanese-style construction of Africa (see this site from Ghana for an example:
http://www.larabanga.netfirms.com/)
It's not exactly castle, but I think it's close enough people here will like it. Incidentally, I just moved to the DC area, so I'm looking forward to checking out Brickfest sometime this weekend. I imagine I'll see some neat stuff there.
Enjoy,

Cool moc, from looking at the picture you've captured the feel of the dwelling and I like how you've used SNOT technique to good effect

Nice MOC. I really like the style, and the doors are cool. Thanks for sharing.

That is a great MOC. Small, but very detailed, and you have captured the smooth curves of adobe and other earth-built-buildings well. It remined me somewhat of the adobe buildings in the American Southwest, but is distinctive enough to clearly *not* be from that region.
Great job! Is there an interior?

Yeah, it is defintly liked by the castle fans...
I really like it's construction, but I think it has potential for one nice lil'interrior

This is a really nice MOC, Kenn. From the title of your post I was expecting Ninja, but this is just as good, or better. I like the look that the curved slopes give this, very real-looking. The black 1x1 rounds are the ends of beams, I assume? I do hope there's an interior.

I like the door, and the color and decoration is nice. Great Job!

Wrong Continent? There's nothing wrong with Africa, or Asia.
You can make a nice "what if" scenario of say a Crusader getting lost in the desert and ending up in Sudan instead of his intended goal of Egypt.
It's also nice to build and see something different, than you're usual Motte & Bailey or Towers, Walls, and Central Keep style of European Castles.
2 thumbs up! Greak work!
