Will Chapman of Brickarms has released 2 new weapons in his sets, an MP-5 and a PSG-1. He had a contest over at MCN to guess the 2 new weapons and I won!

I have received my free sets and immeditely upon getting home from work I pulled out my minifig parts case. Here's what I came up with to show off the new weapons and the cool nickel plated set:

Some commandos of future and unknown origin. I'm fairly pleased with their "camo" look.

A frogman. I was thinking Navy Seals HALO.

It coulda happened in The Last Crusade.....

Todays world brings terrorists to our front door. Here we have an Islamic fundamentalist and an AK weilding high-schooler.

The customizers just keep getting better.... and even though its not castle, you gotta admit these are awesome! Plus, as long as there are companies like Brickarms making the accessories we want we don't have to buy clone brick sets just to get their weapons.

 *gasp*

These are great, Relcuse! I really like the guns as well, and the way you used them really brought out their usefullness. I have collected army stuff in the past(not LEGOs, but other things), and I think these have a great look.

I hope that you will make more things with these news weps!

In Christ,

Really cool. I especially like the terrorist with the rocket launcher. He looks like he just stepped out of a news report.

Augh... I still consider making real weapons replicas for lego its a sin. Dont get me wrong, I just think it kills the spirit of it.

You can get those from the MCN store. CC user Armothe runs the store.

It's a shame because these 2 new weapons were released a day or two after I bought the now discontinued "6 pack". They should be arriving in the mail tommorow.

And as far as German helmets go, if anyone is willing to put Lego pieces 'under the knife', fireman helmets and Darth Vader helmets make superb German helmets, with the fromer of the two being more economically friendly. I am in the process of preforming said modification myself, I will post pictures in the coming weeks.

Actually blasterman, he's got both the Oxford styles and the MCN styles in use on his website. THe Oxford style is closer to an alllied version, while the MCN style is decidedly German.

Actually...the link I provided shows only Oxford stuff. I see no MCN parts on that page.

I have the Oxford military helmets pictured in the above link - they're based on a modern helmet, much like the U.S. helmet. You may want to do a little research on what a German helmet looks like, because it isn't anything close to Oxford OR MCN. Making the brim a little longer on an Oxford modern helmet, does not make it a German helmet. German helmets also don't have that little "neck divot" on the bottom/back. That is a modern feature. Allied version? Not even close. Bestlock modern helmets are the closest to WW2 U.S. helmet, but will not fit on a Lego head without serious modding.

Either way - decidedly German, it is not.

Sorry for the confusion but in Recluce's picture the caption under it refers to Indiana jones so I was assuming since the enemy in the movie was the Nazis and the fact that he is holding an mp 40 would definately suggest he is a german soldier. Therefore i refered to it as the german helmet because i figured people would associate it with that guy. Just didnt feel like getting all history buff like. :P Thank you though. :D

BTW: I was once a few clicks away from buying a German WW2 Modell 35 helmet. GAh! should have cause now its twice the price.
