Hey Denix,

Great MOC! I really like some of the little details, like the landscaping and different vegetation around the base, those lamps by the front door, the little ladder on the dock, and those bunk-beds.

Perhaps my favorite aspect is the variety of ways you used to open it up for interior access, particularly the whole face of that tower that comes off, connected by technic pins.

The one thing I dislike is the dragon. Sitting next to a fully reallized MOC like this really makes the Fafnir Dragon look spindly and unfinished.

Thanks. It was a long time I finished a castle.

I really hesitated. First of all, it was a joke (like the Viking on Harley-Davidson you can see on the third picture (e002.jpg), near the dock), but my castle was unamed and it was a revelation. I had a name for it !
But I see it brokes something ...

Wow- Impessive as always. I love the first tower near the dock; Makes it look like a gate house, but because they are on a huge rocky island, there isn't any walls...
I enjoy all of your MOCs, and I knew who you were from the first picture; you have a distinct and well developed style. Good job!

Very nice castle, Denix. I like the detailed interiors, and the outside is nice and strong-looking. The cliffs are great, I like the plants on them. This shot is very nice, it shows the details of the gatehouse well, and the dock and bridges are cool. I like the chains keeping the boats from getting too close to the bridge and shore.

Good job! I like all the detail you added into this MOC. The cards in the bunk-room, the food cooking in the kettle, the hutches, and more! I like the green on the cliffs and the overal appearence of the tower. The idea of an inclosed stairwayjsut to reach the maiin tower is also neat and practical. Keep it up.

As I said on Lugnet, very nice! I'll add my appreciation of the beds!

A very impressive castle. I like the way it comes apart, well thought out. The arrow slits look very effective too. Your interiors look realistic, I especially like what you have done in the kitchen.

Nice, very nice. Like Bruce said, the current dragon looks sort of spindley; but I suppose it would be to much to believe that there was a possibility of a brick-built dragon?(as opposed to the method of almost exclusively using bionicle)

my two cents

This....is pure excellence! I love castles on rocky landscape. I like the styl of the outside and the interiors are quite spacious. the entrance is really neat in this pic http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2071314 . I also like the furniture and interior design of these two rooms best

I have to admit that when I first opened the folder I just thought "oh, it´s another big grey tower thingy" but when I looked closer I was totally blown away! I love the landscaping and those battlements are really beautiful.

The interior looks really good as well and as Bruce mentioned the beds are well done.

And I for one actually like the dragon, it adds a nice little finishing touch ;)

Keep up the good work!

Sweeeet!

Wow! It seems to be the month for awesome castles!

Loved the interior detail as well -- the beds are excellent! I did get a laugh from the roof scene, where one fellow was in terror and the soldier on the wall had just yet to notice his impending doom.

Very cool landscaping, I'm always a fan of ANYTHING not built flat! :)

Excellent Castle, Denix! I'm a big fan of your work. I really like the dock and the way the castle seems to grow out of the rock and vegetation. Keep it up!
