The pic showing it offering a piece of fruit has a certain... jibbly-ness... to it. Creepy.

Hmmm, I hadn't thought about a pumpkin, but given that it's the halloween season that's probably what it is. So, yes, that would be a vegetable. Still creepy...

Skeleton: "May I interest you in a... seasonal treat... ?"

Me: "Ur, um, I think I hear my mum calling..."

Technically speaking, any botanical produce that contains internal viable seeds is a fruit. Pumpkins, tomatoes, green peppers are all fruits. Produce that does not contain internal viable seeds are vegitables like broccoli and lettuce. Strawberries reproduce not by seeds but by root growths, and the seeds on the 'fruit' are not internal nor viable, so a strawberry is not a fruit, technically a vegitable. Bannanas, too, not fruit.

--Tony

EDIT: after doing some checking to double check my facts, Strawberries are considered 'accessory fruits' and bannanas are considered 'false berry'. Basically meaning they're not fruits in the hard definition of what makes a fruit.

Coming back to the topic of legos and going away from deciding what is and what is not a fruit, I have to say that this is a great creation. Needs a helmet and a sword for an undead warrior though.
Time to go nighty night mister west.

This is a really cool little skeleton - that head truly looks menecing, and the skeleton looks pretty decent considering the pieces - the hands/fingers are great - I'd like to see a close-up shot of that. The pumkin is a really nice little touch too~

That a great skeleton. I don't care if he's got fruits or veggies...

Jibblie: noun/adjective; a Lego creation (see "MOC"), normally pronounced by SavaTheAggie which is unussually creepy, and or horrifying which deeply effects the viewer. This effect on the viewer is known as the "jibblies"- ie the shudders and otherwise empty feeling deep in the stomach-al region...

Alright, now for the examples...

hehe, also defined by StrongBad of homestarrunner.com as the 11th worst thing ever...

Cool MOC. I especially like the pic where he's juggling his skull.

Not to spur the discussion, but there's an old US Supreme Court case that tries to determine if a tomato is a fruit or a vegetable. The answer: technically it's a fruit, but for purposes of commerce it is a vegetable. How does that help us with the pumpkin discussion, you might ask? Short answer: it doesn't. If the Supreme Court can't decide, how can we be expected to?

More importantly, this is a cool skeleton without a lot of technic-type pieces, which makes it look more clean. I like it.

Okay, am I supposed to thank you for those reminders?

It turns out that the third jibblie linked above is no longer on display.

Hmm, sorry Alan about that third one I must have missed it...

Thanks would be alright, but I like to think of it as a grim (an appropriate word fo rthis tompic, eh?) reminder to be avoided...

The ones I posted were just examples, if others wish to go looking for jiblies such as {the unmentionable} then that is fine.

Thanks (I guess) :)

That bunny gave me the jibblies. What an odd sub-theme.
