That garden with the big tree looks soooo good.
You put a lot of details in this MOC (inside the house, garden).
Only I would remove the blue flag on the roof.
Or do hobit houses have such a flag in LOTR?
History is the version of past events that people have decided to agree upon.

Hey! Tom Bombadil, Tom Bombadillo!

You just had to stick him in there. The river he's in looks very realistic. The willow looks pretty good too, perhaps a little on the square side, but definitely gnarly.

The hole itself though... is simply amazing. I especially like the porch, with the roof supported by the central crossbeam. Great uses for palm tree trunks, by the way. The best part of the exterior is the landscaping, though. Very natural looking, great randomness.

Amazing, the load of it! The great willow, detailed interior with a great look to it. The whole landscape, Tom Bombadil, and of course the actual hill is amazing, excellent Moc, good luck!

Lovely. There's so much that could be said about it - I thought your styling was very organic, and I wish there were more interior shots. Good job! :D

Great work. This reminds me a bit of Brickshelfer Obi-Juan-Kenobi's Bag End, but yours has a lot more detail and your landscaping is more organic. The pond is excellent, and architectural details like the posts and beams make your version more interesting. Besides, your door is actually round! Okay, I'll stop comparing, but the truth is, yours stacks up very well against one of the most popular MOCs on Brickshelf. Well done indeed.

This is great! I love the windows, and the way you used arches everywhere. Good luck in the contest.

Really nice, overall. I like everything about it, and it would take to long to name everything so, Great Job!

Wow, the great mocs are really coming out!
I truly love this moc.
You get an A+ for the landscaping and the interior design.
The shape of the "hobbit hole" blends in very well with the natural landscape.
And Tom Bombadil floating by, that's like the cherry on top of the sundae!

Great work and good luck on the contest!

Excellent Hobbit hole. It really captures the feel of one very well. I have yet to try my hand at one of these. Well done.

This is what I immediately thought of too. They are both excellent, but very different at the same time. Great work here, I love the interior.

I love seeing your Hobbie/LOTR MOCs... this is no drop in quality/coolness from the previous. Well done, very good landscaping. I really like the door (as others do), and the hobbit sitting outside smoking some from his pipe is wonderful~

The tree is, as usual, nice to examine, and I really liked the cross-section you gave of the earth/water. Of course, your sig-fig in a floating tub is a perfect touch.

Nice! I particularly like the style of your interiors, they feel very appropriate somehow. I also like the window design you have used on the sides of the hobbit hole. My favorite element is actually the stonework you have used in creating the chimney, hearth and doorframe; incorporating the round 1x1 plates. Somehow the style of it gives the MOC a very rustic/rural feeling. Your hobbit characters are also very well realized.

Later,
Brody
