What do you think the next castle weapon will be? Lately it's been the pike thingy.

What would you like? Other than the classic sword that is.

I would probobly take a less exaguated great-axe. Yeah, thats would be about it.

Yours?
I ow it to wunztwice for directing me here.

- long pike (the ones that still are used by the pope's guards)
- some of my weapons (see my brickshelf)
- maybe new forms of excisting weapons. As in a propper long sword, new axes, new spears, etc.

I'd like to see a flail, but have no idea how to make an effective one in Lego scale.

take the lightsaber bar as the stick part, now for the trick you have to cutt a chain into bits, lets say 4 to 6 links (both sides need the stud link). Now add that to the bar, add on the other end 2 times 1x1 plates with tabs and presto! Make sure you want to cutt the chain to bits for this and know tha tyou need more chains for more flails! 8)

That is what I would like to see as well. Not sure how TLC would do it though.

A flail woulb be cool, and i think it is possible to make the chain. If a normal chain can be made, it would be possible to make a schorter one on a stick.

I'd like to see some variations on swords.

I'd also like a more versatile bow, but that's a problem as the bow is the only weapon that launches something - and at minifig scale it's pretty much impossible to make any mechanism for shooting naything (unlike the bigger catapults).

Also, some different spears would be nice. And I'd like to see some more of those Orient Expidition shields, like in the Scorpion Palace. They were good.

Yes, it is almost impossible to do, but looky here (It's not a bow, but still a small shooting machanism. ):

Another weapon I would like to see would be a new sword, maybe with a thinner, sharper blade.

With questions like this, I'm feelin' like chopped liver. :(

So basically, Lego needs to make versions of just about everything I've done.
Yeah...that would cover 99% of your Lego wants. Well, good luck with that! You'll probably get 1-2 new weapons in the next 2-3 years, if the SW blasters are any hint to how long it takes them to borrow ideas.

I always wanted a flail/mace, but a more european pike would be cool (more like the playmobil pikes)
