I just saw this on Lugnet, and I'm glad you posted here so that I can respond.

This is a great little tank. The bogies are very imaginatively rendered, and the steam power plant is a nice touch. I'm quite impressed with the SNOT turret and the way that you rendered the barrel. And to top it off, the setting of it churning through a field of flowers is simply... cute :)

Well done, all round!

I love it! the flowers are a nice touch, as are the tread marks.

This is great. Nice details yet still remains simple. Great work.

Very nice. I really like the overall look of it, and the path of crushed flowers is very clever. The only thing I don't like is that you used Fisher-Technic treads.

Adorable!

Footsteps has already noted all the great bits -- boiler, pressed flowers, turret, etc. But I think my favorite touch is the pink and yellow flag unfurled atop your sweet little tank... Ahhhh...

This is very, very awesome. I can not stop staring at it. This is exactly what a steam tank should look like. I am both shocked and pleased that it is crushing all those flowers. Did I mention it is very, very awesome?

Keep up the good work.

Great looking tank. I especially like the hatchway on the back.

While that tank is very cool and well built, the flowers is such a cool idea that I spent most of my time just checking that out - it's a great visual effect.

Not sure why, but for some reason this reminds me of Dragonball.

I'm glad you all appreciate the flower field, because it took over three hours and a lot of cursing to put together. I think it's much better to make a little scenery in order to present MOCs than just sticking it in front of a white background. This particular diorama was inspired by an album cover, but I think it was something Dunechaser said on Flickr that got me thinking about presentation, even though (or maybe because) it pissed me off when I first read it.

Hey Jonesy,

Great MOC. I like the turret on the tank a lot, and also the detail in the treads where you connected technic half-pins to those plate with arm elements (hey, that must mean that the bottom half is all studs down?). The crushed flowers are a funny effect.

I love it. The crushed flowers are the real icing on the cake.
