Uhm...hello? Brick Link!sarous wrote:people always say two heads are better than one, but seriously try ebay
Why on earth would you look on eBay for one or two heads?!?! Brick Link would be much better for specific small items like a head.

I dont like replies that simply say "go check ebay or bricklink" in a situation like this.
Obviously, if the question is "where can I get lego," then ebay or bricklink is a great suggestion. But if the question is about trading, and if the person is a long-time member of the forum (which means he's aware of ebay and bricklink), then it's unnecessary to give such response.

I applaud your desire to be helpful. I do not however understand your statement above. My apologies as you are doing a better job of writing in English than I would in your native language.sarous wrote:i am aloud to say something wrong if he or she does not take my advice
All I was trying to point out was that for a single head eBay is pretty much useless for several reasons. First, most LEGO is not sold as individual bits but as larger groups of bits. Second, waiting for a specific head to appear for sale could take months. Third, it will likely be more expensive to buy on eBay than just to buy one from Brick Link where the current price for the head in question is around us$.70.
In any case pacman110011 was looking to avoid buying a head. Why would you suggest he buy one from ANYWHERE when he was asking about a trade.
I'm sorry if I am not explaining the concept well but sometimes people would rather simply make a small trade than spend money. If people know you they sometimes even send you stuff for free. If I had a bunch of those heads and knew pacman110011 I would probably just send him one. I know I have given away bits to local AFOLs and have received bits without any money or trade happening.
So, in summary, you gave not only bad advice but misunderstood the request in the first place. Not really a big deal but I hope this overly-long explanation helps you improve your English skills.

Re: I need two heads
I just realized that head is almost the spitting image of me! And you can't have mine because I'm rather attached to it, and am in the habit of using it from time to time.pacman110011 wrote:This is the head that I am looking for. Pm me if you have one please.

Re: I need two heads
Yeah, I got one in the Holiday Train set and am using it for the new "me" in LEGO (after a small modification to the beard.) I'll post a link when I get a chance to take pictures.footsteps wrote: I just realized that head is almost the spitting image of me!
