I think I have the answer to the question about only 4 crownie torsos. The king has a viking torso under his armor and the knight has a plain bley torso under his armor.

Yes those are the parts and I just tried them out. They make the dwarf a bit taller so i took of the bottom 1x1 plates. Also this only works with old style torsos. I haven't had time to take pictures yet.

Instead of using the hammer maybe you could try using the T-bar piece and sticking a half-pin on the other end so you can put the torso on it.

To store my capes i built rack using a lance, the 1x1 eyehole piece,and stacked it on 1x1 cyndrical bricks. Works quite well for me.

I really liked the way you made the brick built longbows I also stumbled upon this technique. I mostly use them for my orc archers because they look thrown together with bits of bone. Hope you continue to make more LOTR mocs.

I like how the goblin is trying to catch the rat and how you made the candleabra. One question what piece did you use to make the orb on the wizard's staff.

I agree that the pictures aren't that great. Still trying to learn the basics of of my digital camera and the lighting isn't that great either hopefully when I finish the castle completely I'll have better pictures .

I''m not that good with linking either. Thanks for some of the suggestions. I think the keep looks nice but it drained my supply of bricks there is no way i will be able to make it as big as i hoped.

Hi everyone i am building my first moc and have finished the keep and am starting on the towers and walls. I was wondering if anyone new of a type of tower that doesnt use a lot of pieces but still looks nice. I want to make sure i have enough bricks for the walls. Please share your ideas.

I mostly like the colors and the emblem of the falcon is pretty cool. Plus sicne my first set was their fortress they kind of grew on me.

I really like how he made the round tower out of the 1x1 cyndrical bricks and 1x2 bricks. Wish i had that many cyndrical bricks to make a tower too.

I agree the black falcons are just plain awesome. Which is why I like them so much.
