I don't know if it's LEGO being cruel. Think back to Classic Castle. The Black Falcons and the Crusaders both had two different versions of their shield - BF with blue outline and yellow outline, Crusaders with gold lion on blue field and blue lion on gold. And now the Crown Knights have two shields...

You do mean Brickshelf gallery right? :D Link, shelf... same difference. :P I should direct you <BrickLink> Thank you. I'm actually awaiting delivery from several BrinkLink stores already. The style of it reminds me a lot of an official lego set for some reason. Me, too. I think it's because it tri...

Tower on the Border
Actually something I put together several weeks back, after discovering MOCpages. The pieces come primarily from 6081 King's Mountain Fortress, which is ... pretty much my only source for parts at the moment. :P The BURPs along the bottom are from a Ninja set or two. At any rate, it's a small, forti...

I'm personally fond of the 'little' details made with the minifigs... like the soldiers pushing back the crowd (near the gallows), or the gang of drunken revelers/hecklers up on the tall balcony (above and slightly behind the cart). There's more to see if you examine it closely, which I love. It add...

These folk came out during my Dark Age, so I've never owned any. In retrospect, that's not really a bad thing. However, I like 6097 in a way. The wall goes all the way around and is more than one stud high, and so much of it is brick-built instead of using panels or specialized pieces (something 609...

Thank you for the warm welcome. I suppose my first questions have to do with all the acronyms thrown around. MOC and AFOL have been answered, and I've seen BURP and LURP identified as Big and Large Ugly/Useful Rock Piece. SNOT is Studs Not On Top. I assume GURP is Giant Ugly/Useful Rock Piece, thoug...

Is this thing on?
Hi, uh... *mic feedback* ... uh, I'm new here. I loved playing with LEGO when I was younger, especially Castle (arriving in time to catch the tail end of the Crusaders/Black Knights) and Pirates (red-suited Imperial Guards era). Sadly, my divided loyalties mean that as I emerge from what I believe i...
