Re: Collectible Minifig Series 3
I hit the jackpot today at my TRU in GA and snatched up a Hula Girl, a fisherman, and 5 Elves!!
And that was only from the 2 out of 5 I felt my way through!

Almost made me cry...
I'm currently in NYC for college auditions. Our hotel is right on Times Square and so, I had to drag my parents into the famous TRU...and what I saw nearly brought tears to my eyes...The LEGO display was spectacular!! I don't know who here has ever been there, but if you haven't, I highly recommend ...

Re: Least favorite lego color...
I don't like any printed beards on minifig heads that don't fit any hair color, such as the marketplace blacksmith. It bugs me.
When it comes to actual piece color? I guess purple...or sand blue? I don't know...I just like my beards and hair to match.

Re: Who Would Win the Lego Castle War?
That won't work, as the good guys always win; the good guys being the Crown Knights and their allies. Ah, you make a valid point, BUt since this is merely a discussion of who would win in a war, not a discussion of the dichotomy of good and evil, I say that the Undead/Trolls would win in a good old...

Re: Who Would Win the Lego Castle War?
I'm gonna go ahead and kill this thread: The Undead allied with the Trolls would win, hands down. Let me tell you why: They both have sturdy, large ships, 3 masters of magical arts, one of which has an endless army of undead soldiers. Also, there is no definite way to kill the skeletons. These aren'...

Re: Ideas for Toy Story
I'd like to see Sid's mutated toys and an Al's Toy barn set.
I also want to see a Mr. Potato Head, Ham, Slinky dog, and Rex in the future.

Oh, it's gotta be LEGO!
That's the closest thing to the red, white, and yellow bubble letters we all know and love!

Henry V
Have any of you seen the 1989 Kenneth Branagh film version? I just watched it, and I must say it is an exceptional film. It has a great, realistic battle scene and just the right amount of comic relief. For some it may be hard to get passed the hard to understand Shakespearean language at first, but...
Re: LotR Sets
I don't think the licensed sets take away from creativity. I mean, I got the Indiana Jones Temple Escape set, and that most certainly did not hinder me from taking it apart and building my own, more accurate version of it. We all know that a whole lot (if not all) of LEGO's licensed products, beside...

Re: CCCVII Custom Dwarf and Elf.
Thanks everyone, for the kind words!
I'm glad you guys like the dwarf! I was really curious to see what other people would think of it, and now I know!
I guess my first real custom figure was a success! Huzzah!
