I think the best set for returning from a dark age is the Royal knights' castle(6090):

There's a problem with polls. People get lazy and just vote without replying. I like polls too, and I am guilty of just voting without replying myself.

Actually, I forgot to say that some bricks were left in an iron basket for some years, and now are covered with rust.

I like Lego because of the detailed scenes one can create, and because of the huge variety of combinations possible.

the tower itself was an old abandoned tower on a mountain lake
Good description. It certainly has the haunting sense of an old, abandoned castle.

This is a very good set, made very well within the framework of the good old sets. The idea of the castle being on water is original, and I like the bridge. The castle (tower) looks very grim and imposing, with the grey walls and the tall, featureless walls. I like the chamber inhabited by a ghost, ...

I remembered the old 'are you a purist?' thread, and quite a few people voted for being a strict purist, but the majority said that they would modify pieces to make them more useful.

For me, it's only CC and brick central. I am registered as Nick in both. I don't have time for posting much, so I don't want to spread over many forums, it's pointless.

Not because we're trying to be secretive It's better for you to be secretive, as there must be a distinct borderline between public and non-public information. Yeah Sava you're probably right. It's better to keep it as a secret. Exactly. People in charge are always right. Anyway, congratulations to...

(after seeing the new trailer, I realized my shield sticker was painfully inaccurate!) The film is only a copy of C.S. Lewis' book, and all things shown in the film are just products of other readers' imaginations. So, you're free to make what ever sticker you like, as long as it has a lion on it. ...
