Heh, nice ruins! I particularly like the crumbling pathway, and how you can see the remains of a house/store/guardhouse nearby. The grass effect is also interesting. The only thing I'd change is how the Hobbits all have the same face - the smilie face is a bit overused.
Other than that, excellent!

SWEET! I am looking forward to seeing it already. I am trying to make a barbarian horde to fight my other factions but havent been able to place a bricklink order. How big will the ruins be?
I think I'll build a temple, which is defended by roman legionaries, some columns, and maybe an aqueduct.

Yep, I always enjoy a good landscaping MOC and especially when it's tolkien. The ruins are great to. Mushrooms always fit. I've got to add mushrooms to my next MOC, I always forget.
Cheers.
Cheers.

As Dunechaser said, you do have a talent for creating ruins! The landscaping is great, as is the ruin itself. The fallen colums and all of the other little details combine to form an excellent ruin MOC. BTW I'm still liking how you use those sand blue bricks

It's pretty easy to MOC. Jim posted this campsite:The dark tide wrote:Does lego make mushrooms?

Takeshi Itou's witch house:
includes mushrooms discussed in this thread.
Nelson's Magic Mushrooms:
was discussed in this thread.
And Aaron Sneery's Gnomish House:
was discussed in this thread.
There is this patterned radar dish which is used to make giant mushrooms in three Belville sets.

Ah, I see. They looked like single pieces from the pictures in his MOC so I thought lego made em. Thanks for clearing that up. BTW, I also like how you used the sand blue in the ruins.
