Valus and the Dark Forest rangers rode south towards Hemlock Stronghold. In the distance, a Dark Forest outpost lit its beacon. Hemlock resonded by lighting its own beacon signaling an attack on outpost Garan only a mile or two away. Valus turned his horse around and galloped towards the tiny outpost. The rangers following Valus turned with him and rode towards the outpost. After about 5 min. the force rode straight into the battle. The rangers flanked the attacking Wolfpack army trammpeling the left side of the force. The force pushed and cleaved a path all of the way through the line to the other side of the Wolfpack line. Drawing their bows, the rangers fired on the Wolfpack Mongel and style.(Riding forward, but firing backward if you didn't know.) Turning their horses, the riders dismounted and charged the army. Bloodshed insured, as more Wolfpack and DF troops showed up.
Captain Retas of the DF fighting from inside the outpost saw the new force of Wolfpack soldiers arrive he raced up the stairs of the outpost watchtower. Up at the top, crossbowmen stood firing at the large army. Retas hurried to the north side of the watchtower where a large horn was hooked to the side of the tower. Retas took a deep breath and blew the horn as hard as he could.
Valus suddenly heard a horrid sound. The signal to retreat. Valus ran towards the outpost gatehouse with amazing agilty and speed. Soon he was at the gate fending off WP soldiers with his short sword. The rangers that were with Valus joined him to vend off the WP, to secure the retreat to Hemlock Stronghold. Finally another horn sounded for the rangers to retreat inside the now crudely rebuilt outpost gate. Valus ran inside and followed the remaining army to the secret passage to the stronghold. A small force was left to distract the WP once the gate broke, so that they wouldn't be followed in the passage way.

"WE have been expecting you, Sir Faolan. I hope you travelled well?"
"I came here against my will," argued Faolan, "I was guided by a magical channel."
"Yes, my magical channel." laughed Adamopolis.
"What do you want with me?"
"You work for the Falcon king, correct?"
    "Yes."
"Your job was to kill Barbod, correct?"
    "Yes."
"Then I have an enticing offer for you," smiled Breck. "What if I gave you a chance to kill the Bull and rule your own province, eh? South Ninjara is mine, Morcia is destroyed. We can rule it together, and smash the Bull and his comrades once and for all!"
    "You're lying."
"Hah, why would I lie to you, your dirt, scum, just like the world thinks we are. We can show them what we mean! For once, they will become the scum beneath our feet!" Faolan studied Breck with his asssasin abilities and it was evident he was very insane... a dreadful opponent, but prime for the killing. He was starting to believe in this deal...
"Alright... I might just take your offer, Sir Breck!"
"No, I believe it is KING Breck, of the newly crowned nation of SILANDRA!"
Breck had already begun construction of his castle, on the ruins of Morcia. The fool had no idea of what the south nations would do... either Clavvius or Majisto would send legions to crush his rule, or the devastated but vengeful shoguns would send their ashigaru armies down to quell his insurrection. It was delicious.
"Alright Kif, let's show these freaks what a bloated, runaway military budget can do"

The passage to Hemlock was crammed full of Dark Forest archers, swordsmen, and thieves(Valus). They soon reached a large hall signaling their arrival. The guards of the castle were all on the walls preparing for the siege. Captain Retas was organizing the troops as Valus waited for his order.
"Valus, I'm promoting you to the rank of Captain, for covering our retreat at the gatehouse," said Retas as he stepped in front of Valus.
    "I wasn't alone," answered Valus.
"I know," replied Retas,"but you rallied the troops."
Retas continued to give orders, while Valus stocked off the north wall. As he got to the wall he saw an army of Wolfpack soldiers.
"Ready your arrows," yelled Valus at the newly formed Archer Brigade.
    "Fire"
Soon the battle began, but the Wolfpack offered little resistance, because the combat was all ranged not close- combat. But that was all about to change. The battle raged into the night until the Wolfpack finally retreated out of range of the archers. Valus and a small group went back through the tunnel to the outpost for supplies. He knew it would be the Wolfpack HQ, but they needed the extra arrows. The group got to the trapdoor, and stopped listening for any sign of movement or noise above them. After 10 min the group opened the trapdoor and stealthy walked to the nearest door. He looked out the window and saw the DF men used to distract the WP chained to a pole being stacked with bushels of twigs and logs.
"They're being burned alive," whispered a ranger.
"You get the supplys. I'll get the prisoners," whispered Valus. The group split up. Valus crept outside, while the rest of the rangers went to a tiny hut stocked with supplies.

Valus ran to a tree nearby. The tree offered no security,so he ran to a building close to the captives. Valus grabed a brick on the building, and started to climb to the roof. Soon he was at the top looking down at the Wolfpack and the Dark Forest captives.
"Get the fire ready, boys. We're going to burn them alive," said a Wolfpack captain."Will Blackguard be pleased?" asked the captain to a cloaked man.
"You must take the castle...by tomorrow, for Blackguard to be pleased," said the cloaked man.
"We can't breach the walls without siege equipment," said the captain.
"Use the forest," answered the man.
    "What the Blackguard commands."
Valus thought too himself...I wonder who Blackguard is. Maybe Retas will know.
Valus took his bow off his back, along with a handful of arrows.
"Sir," said a Wolfpack soldier,"The burning stake is ready."
    "Good," chuckled the captain,"Light it."
The guard ran to another soldier with a torch. The guard took the torch and threw it at the pile of logs. The wood instantly went ablaze. Valus let his arrow fly, and it landed in the captains neck. Valus grabbed two more arrows from beside him, and fired them into an armored guard. He fell into the fire next to him. Suddenly, an arrow flew by Valus's head. Then two more. Finally, Valus located and greeted the archer with a arrow to the head. A guard yelled up to the other soldiers there was an enemy archer on the roof. Valus sheathed his bow and jumped off the roof. Wielding his short sword, Valus decapitated two swordsman. Now, the DF captives were screaming for help, but the fire was unstopable. Valus threw his sword at a guard impaling him to a palisade. Valus picked up a battle-axe off the ground, and thrust it into the nearest soldier.
"This fight while change little," said the cloaked man.
"It could save the Dark Forest clan!" yelled Valus hacking another soldier in two pieces. As Valus charged the man, he just disappeared. Valus turned to see a Wolfpack axe master in striking position. Suddenly, blood flowed out of his mouth, with an arrow in his head.
"Come on," said a Dark Forest ranger. They had gotten the supplies, and saved his life, Valus thought.

Shainya threw herself to the ground as the fleet of war dragons dived low and spewed fired down upon the marketplace. Buildings were soon aflame and the smell of burning wood and flesh filled the air.

Crawing facedown, Shainya began to creep into the shadows when a large green dragon landed in front of her and peered at her evily with beady eyes. Flame errupted from it's mouth and Shainya screamed as her entire body was set on fire. Flailing wildly, she ran off in the direction of the village well, the flames licking at her flesh. Suddenly she was falling through darkness and she knew no more

Alex and the wolf had fought off a number of wild animals, and were felling extremly tired. They were travveling through a small forest in Crusader area.
"Why are we lookin for the guy anyway?" a man asked. Alex looked out into the darkness of the trees. A small gang of crusaders with weapons were heading towards the bushes that the wolf, and Alex were hiding in.
"Sir, told us to! Fool!! Hahahah" another crusader said.
"What was that?" One of the crusaders looked directly towards the bush.
"Um... I think we have got trouble..." Alex saids to himself.

After hearing of Breck silandros apparent downfall, Jones was now on a job hunt. He had to have a job to do. Not only for the money, but doing jobs was what he did best.
An elderly man, with a cloak wrapped around him limped over to the table that Jones and his friends were sitting in the inn.
    "Hello..." The man mutterered
"Whats your problem old man?" Mushofio snapped.
"I want a job." The man said, he peirced Mushofios eyes.
    "What?" Jones asked
"There is a fortress, that a man owns. He pratically owns the whole town, i want something from him..."
    Jones sat forwards
"Carry on old man..." Jones said

Pain exploded through Shainya's body. Groaning, she lifted her head and tried to focus her eyes. After a minute she succeeded, she was in the well. She sat up slowly, crying out in pain. Sitted in foot deep water, she slowly examined her battered body. There were burns all over her body and one of her ancle felt sprained. It could have been worse... she thought, I could be dead...

RADJAR stood on the deck of his father's galleon Tiderunner, watching the waves on the sea. He was returning home, to the Dark Forest. The sky grew darker each passing moment, storms raged on the Fell Isle, in both weather and man. The war was at stalemate, the Wolfpack was unable to take
Hemlock due to the efforts of a brave mercenary named Valus Naras. He was excited to meet this man. Strange shapes, however, blotted the horizon.
"What is that?" cried Firar, squinting.
"Ships," said Gereld, peering through a telescope. "Two from the fleet of Burtrand Storm-Crow."
    "Pirates!" shouted Hade.
    "They are drifting," grumbled Gereld.
The ship neared the two other ones. They were a mess, several of the masts broken or close, and dead bodies massed up on the deck. It appeared there had been a great battle on these.
"One is the Rosa Marie,"Vos informed, "A Falcon hunter ship. There was a pirate battle just a bit off Crusader shore... But how did they get all the way here in such short time?"
The group's faces went pale. They turned to the ships.
"Let's go aboard them then," suggested radjar with a bit of naivete, "Maybe we will find out."
"I don't think that will be necessary," whined Firar, "I think we already know!"
Bunches of evil-looking vampires crawled out of the ports on the ship.
"Fright Knights must've found them," Hade sighed.
"Well," said Vos, "we can't turn back now."
The group drew their weapons, and waited for the inevitable. Vampires in dark armor, wielding wicked swords, jumped with inhuman ease over the gap between the ships. One got close, and Gereld slit him open with his broadsword. More came and charged them, brandishing cutlasses and maces. Bloody limbs thudded on the deck as the crewmen where slaughtered. The group killed the Vampires that came near, but soon they were surrounded.
Firar gutted one with his scimitar, Hade slashed one with his axe. Radjar attacked with speed and ferocity, killing several, while Gereld fenced with the swordsmen.
"Aha! We have them dead!" cried Gereld in victory.
"No, they are coming around for another pass!"
Hade rushed with berserker rage at the next band of Vampires, killing most, when one came behind him with a long blade.
    "Hade, watch out!" yelled Radjar.
The Vampire slashed with his balde, and the next thing they knew, Hade's torso slipped off his legs. Firar charged him and shoved his scimitar through his armor viciously.
"You'll pay for the blood you've spilt this day," Firar cursed.
Radjar hacked through ranks three deep, and Gereld killed his way to he end.
"There are too many!" he screamed.
Radjar suddenly let out a great cry. A burning pain filled his chest where his scar was. A burst of energy shockwaved around the area, sending waves shooting out. The next thing he knew, Radjar was lying on the ground, and it was raining dead vampires.[/b]

Loc: Hemlock Stronghold, One Week Later
RADJAR sat on his throne, a grim, brooding look on his face. He stared at General Girth Hammertong, leader of the Wolfpack siegers.
"Did you believe you could defeat us?"
    There was no reply.
"Did you? How many lives did you have to take before you could be satisfied for your fill?"
    The general hung his head.
"Three of my friends and my father are dead because of you! What would drive a man to commit such murder against innocent men?!"
The general began to rise and walk away, when Valus Naras pulled his sword against his throat.
    "Answer him," he whispered.
"It's nothing personal," scoffed the general, casually.
"YOU SCUM! YOU CARE NOTHING FOR INNOCENCE! Valus, take him out, and kill him at once! Such villainy will not be tolerated by me!"
The general was dragged away. Valus turned to Radjar.
"King, you should not be so bitter."
"I have no choice. My father and his most trusted friends are dead, while the King of Three Daggers sits amongst seas of gold. Justice must be done, and I plan to deliver it."
Valus nodded. Just then Captain Vos stormed through the throne room doors.
"Sir, we have a report of Wolfpack forces coming out of the forest. They've already burned Loughton."
"Did you attempt to stop them?"
"Yessir, but they were more mobile and came upon us before we could retaliate. We barely escaped with our lives."
"Alright. Summon my steed and your best men. Valus, ready your troops for battle. We will end this now."

The Wolfpack raiders, six thousand strong, marched steadily through Dark Forest lands. Behind them was the burning wreckage of Loughton. A great brown and red mass headed toward Hemlock. Suddenly, a huge, screaming horde of horsemen charged out of the hills. The lines broke into chaos. Gereld Vos, wielding a wavy blade and a round, gold-studded shield, charged the commander in full ggilded armor. The Wolfpack soldier turned in disbelief, and with a great CLAP! he smashed him in the facemask. Gereld flew off his horse and thudded onto the ground. He peeled the dented helmet off his face and went at it again. This time the soldier was not so lucky. Gereld's sword crushed through his skull. The Wolfpack troops scattered in every direction under the exertion of the massive Dark Forest army. A bristly wall of pikemen couldn't stop the Slayers as they galloped, wailing, into their midst. Valus' arrows felled ranks three deep, and he took no time to reload. Within an hour the entire Wolfpack force was annihalated.

Valus ran towards the trapdoor with rangers. Now Wolfpack crossbowmen were rallying ready to decimate the Dark Forest rangers. Valus jumped into the back of a nearby wheelbarrow, and cut the rope preventing it from going downhill. Two of the rangers jumped in with him, but the rest couldn't catch up the speeping cart. The next thing they knew, the rangers were shot in the back.

Lord Void took a sip of red wine and ripped a chunk of flesh out of a roasted quail. Wiping his mouth, he proceeded to eat a plump boar's head, relishing the taste.

Suddenly a servent rushed into the room, beaming happily. He bowed before Lord Void.

    "Yes?"

"My lord," the man cried happily, "The attack on the Crusaders has succeeded! The Eroth Gamus is ours!"

Lord Void's eyes flashed with pleasure. "Where is it?"

"Majisto is bringing it via airship! It should be here within the hour!"

Lord Void leaned back. "Very well, you may go..."

As the servant scurried off, Lord Void thought to himself Finally, my luck has changed for the better...It's good to be evil...

Now jones and the crew were on there way to the fortress. They were to steal the penific orpanus an small orb. The tower in which it was situated, was heavily guarded, and hard to get inside. The man who told them to go, was a resident priest, and they really needed it back. the fortress was situated on a lone hill, just south of the town. If the dark lights needed to get in, they would have to hitch a ride. Jones, followed by his companions, came to a small weapon shop. In the barn was a cart,
"Alf! I will take this up to the fortress!" somebody shouted
    "Aye... ok!" Alf shouted.
The cart set off, and jones and the crew were already hiding in it...

Valus tried to steer the cart as it raced down a hill, but it was all in vain. The wheelbarrow rammed full speed into stone fortification. The three men were flung out of the cart, but the wall prevented them from moving very far. Valus got up looking for the direction to the trapdoor. Down Hemlock Rd. to the left.
"My arm!" yelled one of the rangers,"It's broken."
"Either come on, or become a prisoner," Valus said as he ran off towards Hemlock Rd.
