I would agree that emailing people is going to far, but posting this once is not that bad. However, if she had any sense of responsibility, she would reply to our posts. Of course, her silence may be due to the fact that we have scared her away.

I think many of us are upset because she has sent spam email to many afols (including most people registered at www.LEGOFan.org) and posted at many fan sites. These posts have not generated responses from ABC Television or the casting company RFD Media. For anyone who has watched the show, it is evident that more harm than good is caused by mixing people with different values, morals, and lifestyles.

ABC is not making a documentary on AFOL's for 20/20 but attempting to exploit us for reality tv advertising dollars. There is a difference.

I responded saying that I was interested.

Unfortunately, I'm 19 and have no wife or kids. I offered to switch places with some house-wife. She'd cook diner for my apartment-mates and I'd pack lunches and drive some kids to soccer practices. It would be fun.

Sure they are probably planning to show the AFOL family as a bunch of loons, but that's part of the fun.

I think I've seen an episode of the show, but it may have been that other one (Trading Spouses?) and ya there was drama and stuff, but so what?

Has anyone else ever considered being on a show because its an awful show? Or is that too post-modern...
