Harry Potter display by NCLUG members
Hey all,
Joe Meno posted pics of a Harry Potter display by NCLUG members:
I especially like the fact that they brick-built their dragons, rather than going with the molded dragon in the Hungarian Horntail set. The hedge for the maze is a simple yet effective solution. Nice sphinx as well, and I like the way they did the final key confrontation.

I especially like this pic http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jmeno ... ws0004.jpg
It´s a pity the quality is so bad...

As someone who's tried a garden maze with LEGO before, I can appreciate how hard that must have been to make (although it might look simple enough). Great building here... it's the first time I've seen some huge HP MOCs, and these look great. Good for the theme, I'd say~
Some of the smaller scenes are nice too... and the bolts from Harry's and Voldemort's wands looks great in LEGO.

There are some interesting and well done things in this large MOC. I dont like the way he did Hogwarts itself but everything else seems well done.

This looks like a great Harry Potter display, something that you don't see a lot of but that provides a lot of opportunity for building.

Wow, there is some great stuff here. I love the way they did the final battle, although the lack of picture quality makes it hard to see well.

P.S. Offtopic, the post below Maedhros's was made by a guest. I didn't know that was even possible. Huh, you learn something new every day.

Wow. This was a while ago. It is a great maze though, and some other parts are really impressive.
