I would also be satisfied with either of those results. How cool would it be to be the guy who got turned into a blue brick?Athos wrote:But you also run the risk of being turned into a blue brick or attacked by Lego sorting squirrels...Rayhawk wrote:But if I find one, do I get a chance to inherit the company? Because that would be sweet!
I don't think it would be very practical with the current techniques, the type of chrome used on the crown doesn't hold up under friction, for instance where the minifig's elbows rub against the torso. I'm actually kind of curious to see how they did the 10,000 gold-chrome C3P0s - whether the chrome will rub off, or if they used some alternate more expensive chroming method.Smeagol Studios wrote:I don't need a solid gold threepio, but I wish they would just produce a version made of "gold chrome" similar to the crown piece in castle sets. The creamish tan plastic that has a little extra shine to it that the current kind has doesn't look quite right.

Yes, I am feeling a little bit ripped-off (Jibbed) myself :!:
And as Australia is NOWHERE near the USA (just to point out an obvious fact), I will just have to wait until these guys appear on Bricklink or ebay, for my chance to acquire one.
