I dont think this is a MOC, but anyway, looks like you have a nice starting army. I suggest you just put links to the pictures. So you dont have to scroll down so far.

Small, yes, but well organized. You have a good basis from which to build, if you so decide.

The viking soldiers look a tad tame and well coiffed. The blue fellow with the 'mixed knights' doesn't quite fit with the others -- perhaps he would do better as a page to the wizard.

Very nice job with the wagon. Worth copying.

Grrr. I eat this kind of army for breakfast. You have a nice start, but it can look a lot better with proper organization. Put you knights in ranks, with the random knights loosely organized in the back. Making this into a column would make it seem a great deal more formidable.

Looks like a few of those vets have seen better days ;)

Smaller images would have been nice though :)

A hardy lot, indeed.

Some look like they have already seen some action.

Yes indeed, these are real Armies. I would not like these guys marching upon my castles. I will not be able to defend against them.

Yeah, Im kinda proud of my troops. But it takes a long while and LOTS of money to build up legions of that magnitude. I still have more than that of course.

Oh and I also have armies of alien warriors armed with energy-bolt firing staff weapons, Colonial era, Industrial era, Great Wars era, Modern era, and Near-Future era soldiers. Not to mention Space troops in addition to those Ancient era and Medieval era soldiers...

But back to "how to build an army".

Jangofett, I'll tell you this. If you want a great army, it takes these three ingredients: PATIENCE, Time, and Money.

I discovered BrickLink around 2002 and after 5years my 300 or so minifig army swelled into the thousands. Yet it's still growing, especially with the expansion into alien space troops, alien (modern) soldiers, alien (medieval) warriors, and those Earth-bound timeline armies I previously mentioned.
