As it might be new to many of you, here is one of my Steampunk creations:

I promise I will post some castle MOCs soon, but until then...click on the picture for my brickshelf link.

Let me know what you think.

One thing I've been curious about is your actual photography. Your steampunk photos, like the one you posted in this thread, have a slightly brown, aged look to them. It works great for this subject; was that an intentional effect, or just a side-effect of your camera?

Another fantastic MOC! I love the business of this one. There is equipment everywhere, and propellers, and pipes, and tubes, and so much.

And, that little personal flyer backpack is great!

Great MOC. Some fantastic greebly details & I like the grey / brown combination here.

Looks like a white balance issue. To achieve the same effect shoot in Tungston light with the white balance set to the fluorescent light auto setting. & shoot without flash. I did something similar in this pic, but it needed better lighting :(

But I could be wrong...

This is a great SteamPunk creation. It has inspired me to get out my brown bricks and start building. I absolutely love all the detailing on this creation. But my most favorite part is this guy – he is awesome. I am definitely building something like that very soon.

It is like 1920's Science Fiction. Great MOC. It looks a little messy though.

That's part of the idea behind steampunk... Jumbled machinery, cobbled-together parts, a mish-mash of technology and craftsmanship.
