I'd have to say the BF for me too. Just too cool w/ the black helmets etc.
I thought this guy would have made a cool faction too...

Maybe too plain, oh well.

Hi Lord, I like King Leos Court of Lion Knights including Richard the strong and John of Mayne from the Knights Kingdom 1.
If they are not old enough to qualify yet for classic then the black knights and the Forrestmen are also favorites.
I wouldn't worry I’m sure Lego won’t let the black falcon faction fade; I see their insignia popping up from time to time across other Lego products.

Hello!
Bye
Jojo
Oh, I’m feeling old again. The ”old“ Wolfpack Tower wasn’t even a Legoland set but already a System set. However, the early System sets still breathed the spirit of the older days, wich unfortunately stopped with the release of the Dragon Masters a year later.Bluesecrets wrote:The wolfpack because my only complete old castle set is the wolfpack tower.

Lion Knights are my all-time favorite; whether the first from Kings Castle or KK1. The Lions from the King's Castle brought me out of my dark ages so they will always have a special place in my collection. KK1 helped me through a bad out-of-work period I had. It was hard to find the money for them but the figure line was so good, I had to. At the same I was visiting my parents who retired to Colorado (I was living in Southern Calif. at the time). Seeing a new and completely different natural environment inspired me to make a background story that I would try to make a novel out of it (don't hold your breath).
The background story that I made for them(KK1) helped build a stronger background story for the Royal Knights. The Royal Knights came out when I was near to or just out of college which meant I was broke. Thanks to bricklink I was able to collect them with a new renewed love of their faction.

Probably Royal Knights. The red and white, the look of the knights and footsoldiers...it was a great faction and I have always been disappointed they died out so soon.
Of course, I could choose the Lion Knights for their great sets, or the Forestmen for their Robin Hood feel, or the Black Falcons for their colour scheme...all the old factions are very good and it's very difficult to really choose. I only choose the Royal Knights above anyone else for nostalgia.
Does KK2 count as 'classic' yet?

I think I must have replied to a topic like this one a long time ago... but ah well, I love this debate/topic.
Crusaders, all the way!
From the Yellow Castle line of figs, I really like the Shamrock knights - very scholarly looking bunch~

Lord Doom loves him his ForestGuys.
It's true. I can't deny it any more. I love me my forest guys.
I tried to fight it, but it was no use. The little green men always win.

I absolutely love the forestmen. They would have to be my favourite classic faction.
A close second are the Black Falcons.
