RebelRock is working on a very impressive Moria scene.

WIP?? Looks more like a finished product. What more can he do to make it complete? I do like the lighting effect from Gandalf's staff. That's a nice touch.

Ah, but you underestimate the building prowess of the Dwarves! They built things to last!

That is amazing. I love the smoothness of the pillars, and the blackness of the ground beneath them. I think maybe you should add the goblins when it comes ot that scene.

I think I like his Fellowship more than mine What helmet did he use for Gimli? Looks like a Brickforge spectecled hemlet with the spectecled part cut off.
The pillars are wrong though, they were shaped like trees--not in the movie of course--but they were in the book. Very nice looking WIP overall
, can't wait to see the end product.

The horrid reality we have to face after the movies, no? Of course one could also ask why the haircolours on Boromir and Aragorn (and possibly Legolas and Gimli) are off as well....
Looking really good though! (from a pure MOC perspective )

Love it. It has the right size feel to it and...I dunno the feeling of it just fits well. only thing I would add is more detail to the pillars. you guys should also check out his other stuff on the brickshelf. He has inspired me to build.
"The sky grows black...shadow falls...the Dark Tide comes..."
There are quite a few LOTR Mocs that I've seen over the past few years and this one stands out as one of quality. The hardest part is getting the characters right, and this one hits it right on the head. My only gripe is that it almost seems a little too smooth.
"Bite off more than you can chew, then chew like heck"
The characters definitely capture the movie appearance. It looks really good as a model. I think a black surrounding would have made it look alot better. The enviroment outtside the MOC dictates your vision too much.
As clean and pretty as this is, I don't really care for it. I would like to see some chunks taken out of and falling off of the pillars and more detail on the floor. I suppose I'll wait for the finished model to pass final judgement, though.
It looks very smooth and clean. Maybe too smooth and cean. True, dwarves build things to last, but their corpses, and the ones of goblins don't last that long.
And it would be nice to see a goblin peepin out there.
It looks very nice but there are things missing. I guess that's why it's a WIP.

You know you're a good person when you see megablocks and have to do things you would rather not.
