This battle is chock full of action: Siege weapons, sappers, ambush, mythical beasts.
The story goes that the Black Falcons are under suspicion that the Bulls are preparing to take their fortification. The Bulls consider the fortress/castle to be lightly guarded, but a difficult siege, so they bring a massive army to take the castle, which is located in a hilly area below a mountain treeline.
In order to achieve this siege, the Bulls have signed a pact with an undead Skeleton army, knowing that Falcon prowess with the bow is nullified by fleshless armies. The skeletons plan a daring frontal assault, successfully breaching the gate.
The Bulls, being experts at siege, bring along several trebuchet, a sapper squad, two ladder crews, and a whole slew of footmen and cavalary.
The Falcons were fortunate: All of their secret emissaries relayed distress calls to their allies, the Eagles and the Forestmen, though neither arrived until the battle had already began.
The first to arrive were the Forestmen, who laid in wait for the Bulls to approach the eastern wall to sap the fortifications. With a rain of arrows, the Bulls were sent into shock. They tried to repel the Forestmen with cavalry, but they held the high ground and the benefit of tree cover. They easily overtook the charge and ran to secure the front gate on word from the Black Falcons who were observing the situation.
Meanwhile, the Bulls discovered a water drainage pipe, which they entered in order to find a way inside.
Just as the Forestmen advanced, their numbers were divided by the appearance of a giant undead snail, which spit acid that rendered flesh from the bone in mere instants! Forestmen mages distracted the abomination while the rest of the army advanced into a grueling firefight with Bull crossbowmen. The Forestmen quickly took fortification on the gate bridge.
While the Bulls rained down stone from their siege weapons, the Eagle faction charged the artillery crew with a mix of heavy armor on foot and horseback. Soon after, the Forestmen set fire to the siege weaponry.
As things started looking good for the Black Falcons and their friends, the Bulls set off another surprise! The Spider faction, which caught sight of the Forestmen as they approached the castle, flanked their rear, which was only comprised of a mages and a few bodyguards. They sent forth a scorpion beast, literally giving the Forestmen a pinch!
The Eagles fought valiantly, and while they had to fall back to the castle, they managed to dissuade the Bulls leadership to retreat to encampments further away. The remaining Bulls, Spider, and Skeleton warriors brought the battle indoors.
You get to imagine how the battle ends.
