When I do that, all I get is a yellow Leia and black handsJoshWedin wrote:I'm assuming you mean Bricklink. The dark tide wrote:Does anyone know of a Brickshelf seller who has rare pieces but is stationed in the (you).S.?And, yes, I do. Try Brick-A-Thon. Type in "special" in the store search. Lots of non-production pieces....

Here's the storeLamanda2 wrote: Another one off the tip of my tongue is LEGO Bank (Or something along those lines.), I won my first Bricklink Auction from them and am waiting patiently for my 25 green helms to arrive.![]()
I didn't order anything else from them, but I do believe they had a few rare items around (Plenty Green helms , I'm sure.).

Actually a couple of people have them now. They're genuine lego (Lego has, in fact, acknowledged the red ghost as the collectors itemRusty Brick wrote:If recall correctly, Jojo has the complete collection of these ghosts on his brickshelf. Are they really Lego products, or are they after market customs? And where do they come from?
Interesting. Who recognized this? I am curious. Of course LEGO employees do know which elements are rare, such as white pigtails. But I wouldn't say that one ultra rare element is more important than another.Starwars4J wrote:Lego has, in fact, acknowledged the red ghost as the collectors item).
Well, perhaps I should have worded myself more carefully, as I have not heard this directly from the horses mouth. I heard this through a second party...architect wrote:Interesting. Very reliable guy, though I need to be more careful about how I word it! You have to admit though, the red ghost has become the standard to which rare parts are set, it's what everything is compared against these days, and had started most collectors on the path of collecting in the first place. It honestly wouldn't surprise me. So while one element may not be more rare or important on the outside, the red ghost has had the most lasting affect in the AFOL community to be sure.I think it´s real - no worries. I think LEGO has recognized this item as THE piece that collectors dream about.
Oops, its a different store that uses "special" as a tag for non-production pieces. Brickathon has a bunch, but you have to go through each category and look for them. Its a hunt, but they are there. Sorry about that.Starwars4J wrote:When I do that, all I get is a yellow Leia and black handsJoshWedin wrote:I'm assuming you mean Bricklink. The dark tide wrote:Does anyone know of a Brickshelf seller who has rare pieces but is stationed in the (you).S.?And, yes, I do.
